11. Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore doesn’t quite match up with Martin Scorsese’s best flicks, it stands as a consistently good one. The movie presents a gritty and concise portrait of a single parent and thrives in that regard. Unjustly forgotten, Alice deserves a look. Starring Ellen Burstyn, Kris Kristofferson. Warner, $19.97, 8/17/2004.

12. Taxi Driver: 40th Anniversary Edition [Blu-Ray] (1976)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Dark and haunting, Taxi Driver provides a rich examination of a deeply troubled character. The movie paints a full picture of its subject and remains effective after more than 40 years. Starring Robert De Niro, Jodie Foster. Sony, $19.98, 11/8/2016.

13. Taxi Driver: 2007 Collector's Edition (1976)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I definitely recommend this two-disc Collector’s Edition of Taxi Driver to anyone with an interest in the flick. That goes for fans who already own the old 1999 DVD. This one improves upon its picture and audio and adds a bunch of nice extras. It’s a very strong set. Starring Robert De Niro, Jodie Foster. Sony, $24.96, 8/14/2007.

14. The Age of Innocence: Criterion Collection [Blu-Ray] (1993)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In a shift from his usual MO, Martin Scorsese made a quiet period drama with The Age of Innocence, and he achieves his particular goals. Unfortunately, he also gives us a movie devoid of emotion or drama that drives a long road to nowhere. Starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Michelle Pfeiffer. Criterion, $39.95, 3/13/2018.

15. Silence [Blu-Ray] (2016)
"Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Via 2016’s Silence, Martin Scorsese openly examines aspects of Christianity for the first time in almost 30 years, but don’t expect a rich experience on a par with The Last Temptation of Christ. I

17. The Last Waltz: Criterion Collection [Blu-Ray] (1978)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I cannot say I agree that The Last Waltz stands as the greatest concert film ever made, I also cannot deny that it provides a fine piece of work. Waltz provides an elegant and visually compelling film. Starring The Band, Bob Dylan. Criterion, $39.95, 3/29/2022.

19. The Departed: Special Edition (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While it forms an interesting picture, The Departed doesn’t match up with director Martin Scorsese’s best. It entertains and acts as a worthwhile experience, but it doesn’t leave a substantial impression like Scorsese’s more memorable material. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon. Warner, $34.99, 2/13/2007.

20. Goodfellas: Special Edition (1990)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: GoodFellas stands as Scorsese's masterpiece. While many of his other films are very strong, I don't think any really compete with it. From start to finish, he demonstrates such complete self-confidence that it's astonishing. GoodFellas is a bold, daring film that uses every tool at the director's disposal to create a true epic. Starring Robert De Niro, R
