31. What Ever Happened To Baby Jane? [Blu-Ray Book] (1962)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: History may regard What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? as a camp classic, but I think it deserves a better fate than that. The movie works as a fairly creepy piece of character horror that just happens to boast fun performances from a pair of legendary actresses. The Blu-ray delivers excellent visuals and a nice collection of supplements, but the audio tend

33. When A Stranger Calls (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When a Stranger Calls features some of the cheesiest, most heavy-handed filmmaking I’ve seen in years. Except for the hotness of its lead actor, it does nothing right and proves to be a simplistic bore. Starring Camilla Belle, Tommy Flanagan. Sony Pictures, $28.95, 5/16/2006.

35. The Muppet Movie: Kermit's 50th Anniversary Edition (1979)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Should those folks who own the old DVD “upgrade” to this new one? I’d say yes – if they’re actively dissatisfied with the picture quality. The new one doesn’t look great, but it seems cleaner and more watchable to me. I don’t know if the improvements are worth another $20 retail, though. Created by Jim Henson. Disney, $19.99, 11/29/2005.

36. The Maltese Falcon: Special Edition (1941)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Without question, Falcon is a must-own classic, and I heartily endorse this new special edition. That goes for new buyers and those who already own the prior release. The 2006 release adds plenty of terrific extras and offers greatly improved picture quality. This is a stellar set that I recommend without hesitation. Starring Humphrey Bogart. Warner, $29

37. Gotham: The Complete Second Season [Blu-Ray] (2015-16)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After a strong first year, Season Two of Gotham continues to work well. Granted, it peaks in its first few episodes, but the rest of the shows still entertain and provide solid material. Starring Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue. Warner, $54.97, 8/16/2016.

38. Addams Family Values: 2 Film-Collection [Blu-Ray] (1993)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Unimaginative and contrived, Addams Family Value disappoints. It lacks the first film’s wild spirit and feels like a stale cash grab. Starring Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia. Paramount, $16.98, 10/1/2019.
