21. Friends: The Complete Fourth Season (1997)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Friends got into a groove during its third year, and Season Four continued that run of good shows. The occasional moderate dud appears, but most of this year’s episodes seem good, and a few manage to become great. While nothing about the DVD package itself stands out as exceptional, there’s still a lot of entertainment to be had here, and with a list pri

22. Friends: The Complete Fifth Season (1998)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Happily, Season Five of Friends presents the series’ strongest set of shows to date. They really hit a groove that year, so even the worst programs still offer more than a few good laughs. The DVDs present the same decent but unspectacular picture and sound found on prior sets, and the extras are pretty similar as well. Warner, $44.98, 11/11/2003.

25. Spree [Blu-Ray] (2020)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though Spree offers a creative twist on the serial killer genre, it doesn’t connect on a consistent basis. It tends to push heavy-handed social commentary and doesn’t quite click as a whole. Starring Joe Keery, Sasheer Zamata. RLJ Entertainment, $28.97, 10/20/2020.

26. Hamlet 2 (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Broad, cartoony and only occasionally funny, Hamlet 2 offers an exercise in intermittent cleverness. Unfortunately, we find such erratic entertainment that the whole package disappoints. It probably would work better as a skit or a short program, as it just can’t fill 92 minutes with quality material ... This isn’t a bad movie or release, but it doesn’t
