121. Halloween: Unrated Collector's Edition (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I don’t like the flick so I can’t recommend it to new viewers, but those who know they like Halloween will want to get this release. If you already own the old disc, however, this CE is worthwhile solely to get the new documentary. Everything else remains the same, so only upgrade if you really want to see the new program. 122. Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb - Criterion Collection [Blu
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Frankly, I don’t think that Dr. Strangelove deserves its reputation as a classic, but it can be funny and entertaining. While it falls short of Stanley Kubrick’s best work, it has its moments. Starring Peter Sellers, George C. Scott. Criterion, $39.95, 6/28/2016.

123. Glengarry Glen Ross: 10th Anniversary Special Edition (1992)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I can’t say the movie bowled me over, it provided a crisp and crackling piece of work buoyed by a slew of excellent performances.

124. Blade: Trinity - New Line Platinum Series (Unrated Version) (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After two very good movies, the franchise falls a bit flat with Blade: Trinity. Sure, the movie has its moments, but some decent action scenes aren’t enough to overcome to bizarrely quippy tone and disjointed story. Starring Wesley Snipes, Ryan Reynolds. New Line, $29.95, 4/26/2005.

125. Apollo 13: 10th Anniversary Edition (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: This is definitely the version to get if you don’t already own a DVD of Apollo 13. Should you “upgrade” if you possess the original 1998 release? Probably. While the audio remains identical, the new version improves the old one’s picture quality, and it also adds some good extras. Starring Tom Hanks, Bill Paxton. Universal, $22.98, 3/29/2005.

126. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets [Blu-Ray] (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As for the Blu-ray, picture was a bit inconsistent but usually seemed good, and audio was quite positive. Supplements offered a few good pieces but mostly lacked substance; don’t expect to learn much detail about the film. Nonetheless, the Blu-ray presents the film in a generally positive manner. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson. Warner, $29.99, 1

127. Spider-Man: Deluxe Edition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As for folks who already own the original two-disc Spider-Man, should they “upgrade” to the Deluxe Edition? No. While I enjoyed the featurettes connected to the film, they only last about half an hour, and that’s not enough content to warrant a new purchase. The DE is the most generally satisfying Spider-Man on the market, but it’s not worth a “double di

128. A Beautiful Mind (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The movie suffered from some of director Ron Howard’s soppy tendencies, but it usually came across as a believable and compelling examination of one man’s battle with mental illness.

129. Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone: Ultimate Edition (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite its title, I don’t consider this to be an “ultimate edition” of Stone; it’s a definite improvement over the 2002 release, but it could use a commentary and other elements to increase its depth. Still, it’s the best Stone release to date. With a list price of almost $40, it’s a pricey set, but I think it’s worth it for Potter fans. Starring Daniel

130. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While definitely a flawed and slow-moving film, it offered enough reasonably compelling material to make it acceptably enjoyable.
