151. Man Of Steel [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When I saw A Good Day to Die Hard, I opined that it’d probably end up as my biggest cinematic disappointment of 2013. Perhaps I spoke too soon, as Man of Steel may earn that “honor”. Flawed in almost every possible way, the film craps all over the Superman legacy. The Blu-ray boasts terrific picture and audio along with a fairly solid roster of supplemen

152. Modern Family: The Complete Second Season [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After two seasons, Modern Family continues to offer a fun comedic take on its subject. Though I think the show can be a little too sappy at times, it still delivers enough laughs and charm to succeed. The Blu-ray boasts excellent visuals, acceptable audio and a decent set of supplements. This is a good release for an entertaining series. Starring Ed O’Ne

153. The X-Files: The Complete First Season [Blu-Ray] (1993-1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As I watched Season One of The X-Files, I encountered the “growing pains” I expected, as the shows could be inconsistent. Despite those ups and downs, the season worked pretty well, and it got into more of a groove as the year progressed. Starring David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson. Fox, $29.99, 12/8/2015.

154. The Rocky Horror Picture Show [Blu-Ray] (1975)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At this point in history, I'm not sure it matters anymore if Rocky Horror Picture Show is any good; it's become so famous for other reasons that the movie itself seems almost irrelevant. Personally, I don't like it, but others obviously find something interesting about it ... In any case, the Blu-ray provides surprisingly positive picture and sound. The

155. Behind the Scenes at the Walt Disney Studios: Walt Disney Treasures (1941)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I don’t know how much interest Behind the Scenes will hold for casual Disney fans, but more heavily involved parties should definitely enjoy it.

156. A View To A Kill: Ultimate Edition (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: How about those aficionados who already own the original Gun DVD – should they snag the “Ultimate Edition”? I’d recommend it, but not intensely. The UE offers improved visuals plus a smattering of useful new extras. It’s a decent upgrade but not one of the series’ “slam dunk” improvements. Starring Roger Moore, Christopher Walken. MGM, $89.98, 11/7/2006.

157. Dirty Dancing: The Dirty Dancing Collection [Blu-Ray] (1987)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I didn’t expect much from a chick flick like Dirty Dancing, but it actually works fairly well. The movie proves to have some intelligence and heart, and while it gets too melodramatic, it still delivers a reasonably solid effort. The Blu-ray offers acceptable picture, good audio and a simply stellar set of supplements. With a low list price, this is a de

158. Grindhouse [Blu-Ray] (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino united for a clever double feature via Grindhouse. Both movies entertain and this turns into a cool package. Starring Rosario Dawson, Rose McGowan. Vivendi, $14.99, 10/5/2010.

159. Funny People [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although the public failed to embrace Funny People, I think it’s a pretty good movie. Yes, it runs too long and drags at times, but it melds comedy and drama in a satisfying mix. The Blu-ray comes with erratic visuals, decent audio and a truly exhaustive collection of supplements. Judd Apatow fans will want to give this one a look. Starring Adam Sandler,

160. The Chronological Donald: Volume IV (1951-1961)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Donald Duck’s run as the star of short cartoons ends in The Chronological Donald Volume 4. Happily, the quality of the Donald films remained strong from beginning to end, so V4 finishes the series on a good note. Fans will especially love the inclusion of unusual CinemaScope shorts. The DVD presents the usual fine picture quality along with more than acc
