41. King Kong (2005 Re-Issue) (1976)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Nostalgic factors make me want to like 1976’s King Kong, but all the goofy sentiment in the world won’t turn it into a good film. Oh, this Kong could’ve been worse – as the same filmmakers proved with 1985’s dreadful sequel King Kong Lives - but the flick nonetheless doesn’t hold up well ... Even with a cheap list price of $12.99, avoid this flawed relea

42. Despicable Me 2 [Blu-Ray 3D] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I hoped Despicable Me 2 would springboard off the first flick's positives, instead it seems like a fairly flat sequel. It comes with minor mirth but fails to turn into anything memorable or especially entertaining. Starring Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig. Universal, $29.99, 12/10/2013.

44. What's Up, Tiger Lily? (1966)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: What’s Up, Tiger Lily? started Woody Allen’s film career on an odd note, and it remains something of an asterisk on his résumé many decades later. A fairly spotty flick, the goofy parody contributes enough humor and silliness to make it worth a look, though it never becomes anything special. Starring Woody Allen. Image Entertainment, $19.99, 7/15/2003.

45. Friday The 13th, Part 6: Jason Lives (1986)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One of the series’ weakest efforts, Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives feels like an awkward attempt to make it something it’s not. It looks as though they wanted to give it more of a Nightmare on Elm Street vibe and seems too goofy and inane to deliver the requisite scares. Starring Thom Mathews, Jennifer Cooke. Paramount, $79.99, 10/5/2004.

46. The Amityville Horror: The Amityville Horror Trilogy [Blu-Ray] (1979)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Amityville Horror is nothing more than a silly trifle. It may have spooked me 34 years ago, but it can't muster even a minor chill now, and most of the film just seems goofy and overwrought. The Blu-ray provides fairly good audio and some decent bonus materials but suffers from flawed picture quality. Though it lacks this set’s extras, the 2008 Blu-r

47. How to Marry a Millionaire [Blu-Ray] (1953)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a whole, How to Marry A Millionaire offers a fluffy but fairly engaging experience. The film’s charming cast helps hold it together through some goofy scenarios, and it provides enough wit and earnest fun to merit a viewing, especially if one likes its stars. Starring Lauren Bacall, Marilyn Monroe. Fox, $19.99, 7/31/2012.

48. The Warriors [Blu-Ray] (1979)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Back in 1979, The Warriors created a massive wave of controversy. It seems tough to believe that this goofy, campy piece of fluff inspired real-life violence, as the film seems too toothless to inspire much passion. Starring Michael Beck, James Remar. Paramount, $14.99, 7/3/2007.

49. Clue: The Movie [Blu-Ray] (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I found Clue to offer a surprisingly entertaining diversion. The film clearly will never be regarded as a classic, but the combination of a fine cast and a light tone make it a fun little romp. The Blu-ray lacks significant supplements but delivers very good picture and positive audio. This is a nice release for a goofy but enjoyable movie. Starring Eile

50. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I can’t deny that The Texas Chain Saw Massacre was a seminal work that strongly influenced the horror genre. Unfortunately, the movie comes across as too goofy and poorly performed to work as believable. It manifests occasionally powerful moments but generally relies on graphic grossness more than real scares. Written & Directed by Tobe Hooper. Pioneer,
