- 151. Twilight [Blu-Ray] (2008)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As one far from its target demographic, I expected little from Twilight. However, it turned out to be a pretty interesting flick, and to my surprise, its weakest parts came from those I thought I would like the best. Starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson. Lionsgate, $14.99, 5/5/2009.

- 152. Flags Of Our Fathers: Special Edition (2006)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you don’t already own a copy of Flags, then this Special Edition is the way to go. If you do already have the original movie-only disc, then I can understand if you’re not too happy with the folks behind this re-release. They put out a bare-bones disc and follow it with a two-disc special edition barely three months later – and don’t warn people in ad

- 153. Star Wars: Clone Wars - Volume I (2003)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I can’t say I expected a lot from the animated “micro-series” Star Wars: Clone Wars. However, I found a program that achieved an almost shocking level of quality as it told its tales with zest and excitement. The DVD presented excellent visuals with solid audio and a decent set of extras. Clone Wars definitely belongs in the collection of every Star Wars

- 154. The Pacific: Gift Set Edition [Blu-Ray] (2010)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With its focus on the “soldier’s eye view” of the war, The Pacific doesn’t deliver a broad general history of the conflict against the Japanese. And that’s fine with me, as it does provide a consistently engaging, moving take on the experience of a handful of particular Marines. The Blu-ray offers very good picture, excellent sound and a nice collection

- 155. Supergirl: The Complete Fourth Season [Blu-Ray] (2018-19)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With an overall narrative that reflects current social/political domains, Season Four of Supergirl can feel heavy-handed. However, it improves as it progresses, so the second half works pretty well. Starring Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks. Warner, $44.98, 9/17/2019.

-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Does The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies finish the trilogy in a satisfying fashion? Yes and no – while it comes with plenty of excitement, it lacks the emotional depth/impact that it needs. Starring Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman. New Line, $35.99, 11/17/2015.

- 157. Gotham: The Complete Fourth Season [Blu-Ray] (2017-18)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Still my favorite DC TV series, Gotham continues to cruise along with Season Four. We get a largely solid collection of shows that builds toward a great climax. Starring Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue. Warner, $49.99, 8/21/2018.
