151. Lilo & Stitch: Big Wave Edition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Your interest in bonus features will dictate your decision to get the “Big Wave Edition” of Lilo & Stitch. If you don’t care about extras, you’ll be fine with the single-disc 2002 release; both releases feature essentially identical picture and audio. The “Big Wave” set throws in some excellent supplements, though, so it’s definitely the way to go for fa

152. Terminator 2: Judgment Day - Skynet Edition [Blu-Ray] (1991)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One of the all-time great action flicks, Terminator 2: Judgment Day remains very entertaining and exciting after 26 years. The movie doesn’t qualify as my favorite in the genre, but it’s quite close to the top. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton. Lionsgate, $9.99, 5/19/2009.

153. Friends: The Complete Ninth Season (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While some good episodes appear, Season Nine of Friends is probably its weakest since the early years. The shows aren’t bad, but they lack the effortless spark of the program’s best seasons. Big fans of Friends will want to own Season Nine, but those with a less serious interest in the show probably will be fine without it. Warner, $44.98, 3/8/2005.

154. Talking Heads: Stop Making Sense [Blu-Ray] (1984)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you don’t already own the DVD, go ahead and grab the Blu-ray; it may not improve on the DVD by much, but it remains the best version available. If you do already have the DVD, though, I find it very hard to recommend the Blu-ray. Diehard fans will be interested in the added 1999 press conference found here, but I can’t imagine many will shell out for

155. Close Encounters Of The Third Kind [Blu-Ray] (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The “30th Anniversary Ultimate Edition” of Close Encounters of the Third Kind is a solid set, and the movie itself remains a classic, as Spielberg tells an enchanting story of our first formal meeting with aliens. He utilizes a first-person point of view that makes the tale accessible and moving, and the entire project is fulfilled with beauty and style

157. Freaks And Geeks: The Complete Series (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In the annals of late, great lost TV treasures, Freaks and Geeks might go down as the best. Impeccably acted, tightly written and directed, and terrifically entertaining, the series died before its time. Created by Paul Feig. Shout Factory, $69.98, 4/6/2004.

158. Jurassic Park: Ultimate Trilogy [Blu-Ray] (1993)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 18 years, Jurassic Park remains a terrific adventure. No, the effects don’t dazzle like they did in 1993, but the action still delights and the movie continues to be a blast. The Blu-ray offers top-notch audio as well as very good picture and supplements. This turns into a solid presentation for a fun flick. Starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern. Universa

159. Mary Poppins: 50th Anniversary Edition [Blu-Ray] (1964)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I found Mary Poppins to offer a moderately entertaining and fun experience, and it's a film that's maintained a very strong following for many decades. However, it just doesn't do a whole lot for me; I think it’s too long and it features far too many musical numbers. The Blu-ray delivers strong picture and audio along with an informative collection of bo

160. The Flintstones: The Complete First Season (1960)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Since I’ve loved The Flintstones most of my life, I didn’t need to be sold on these shows. It was pretty much a given that I’d enjoy them. However, I was somewhat surprised just how much I liked them. I figured that we’d get a mix of good, average, and flat shows, but the truth is that the good overwhelm the set and only a few moderate duds appear. Crate
