141. Veggie Tales: An Easter Carol (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I can’t call An Easter Carol a bad piece, it seems like one of the less interesting VeggieTales programs. It suffers from a slow-paced look at its subject and it fails to present the charm and quirkiness normally present in VeggieTales offerings. Featuring the VeggieTales. Warner Books, $14.98, 2/10/2004.

142. Baseball's Most Unbreakable Feats (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: ... I worried that we’d just get comments that lavish praise and tell us little else, but we find some nice insights into the records. It’s good that we hear from so many ballplayers, since they’re able to put the topics into perspective. This turns into an entertaining little documentary. Narrated by Roger Clemens. Shout!, $19.99, 7/3/2007.

143. Cold Mountain [Blu-Ray] (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I can’t say that I felt surprised that I didn’t think much of Cold Mountain, since I didn’t care for the same director’s The English Patient. Since I did enjoy his Talented Mr. Ripley, I figured all wasn’t lost, but Mountain is much closer in spirit and story to Patient, which means it also seems fairly sappy and inane. The Blu-ray offers very good pictu

144. Darkness Falls (2003)
Reviewed by David Williams: Darkness Falls was full of clichés and formulaic horror film staples, but I found myself pleasantly surprised at how much I actually enjoyed it.

145. Wonderland (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Wonderland offers a generally involving investigation of some horrific crimes. The movie lacks great depth or coherence, but it boasts a lively tone and solid actors who help make it work. Occasionally choppy, the film nonetheless provides a pretty powerful punch. Starring Val Kilmer, Lisa Kudrow. Lions Gate, $26.99, 2/10/2004.

146. Sling Blade [Blu-Ray] (1996)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Billy Bob Thornton entered the public consciousness in a big way with 1996’s Sling Blade. In spite of – or maybe because of - its slow pace and low-key nature, the film offers a fascinating character study. The Blu-ray provides pretty good picture, acceptable audio, and a rich collection of extras. This becomes a nice release for a satisfying movie. Star

148. Walk The Line: Extended Cut (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Chalk up Walk the Line as a moderate success. The movie offers a decent look at the ups and downs of Johnny Cash’s life and career, and it features consistently good performances. However, it lacks a certain spark or sense of depth that would make it more memorable ... I don’t think the extended version of the film improves it, but the supplements make t

149. Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan (2021 Remaster) [Blu-Ray] (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Arguably the best film in the series, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan continues to work nearly years after its theatrical release. The movie combines action, intelligence and drama into one compelling package that make it a winner. Starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy. Paramount, $17.98, 9/7/2021.
