71. Shooter (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Mark Wahlberg shows uncommon signs of life as an actor in Shooter, an intriguing and gritty action flick. Imbued with a sense of Seventies paranoia along with its violence, the movie turns into a stimulating affair ... I like the flick and think the DVD deserves a look. Starring Mark Wahlberg, Michael Peña. Paramount, $29.99, 6/26/2007.

72. The Best Man Holiday [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Almost 15 years after the original, The Best Man Holiday delivers a limp sequel. It runs too long, suffers from too much melodrama and lacks much real entertainment value. The Blu-ray offers reasonably good picture and audio as well as some decent bonus materials. Fans of the first flick may get something from Holiday, but it does little for me. Starring

73. Little Miss Sunshine [Blu-Ray] (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Occasionally entertaining but often somewhat dull, Little Miss Sunshine disappoints. I’d heard great things about the movie and wanted to like it, but beyond some good performances and a smattering of laughs, the film falls short of its goals. Starring Greg Kinnear, Steve Carell. Fox, $24.99, 2/3/2009.

74. American Beauty [Blu-Ray] (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although I still feel American Beauty is an overrated film, it remains unusual and entertaining. It's a fairly thought-provoking little affair that should stay with you for a while after it ends. The Blu-ray provides decent but flawed picture plus fairly good sound and a decent set of supplements. The problems with the visuals make this presentation less

75. Scary Movie 2 [Blu-Ray] (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not as terrible as its predecessor, Scary Movie 2 still left a lot to be desired. Its performers offered some decent work at times, but the film itself was largely a compendium of uninspired toilet humor. The Blu-ray offers pretty good audio and supplements but the visuals seem bland and mediocre. This is a passable Blu-ray for a pretty bad movie.

76. Road to Perdition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A stirring and compelling effort, Perdition definitely merits my recommendation.

77. Hearts Of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse (1991)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: An unusually provocative “making of” documentary, Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse provides a ringside view of a troubled and difficult production. With greater access than expected, we get to see the good, the bad, and the really ugly. It remains a fascinating piece ... (T)his documentary is too interesting to ignore. It definitely deserves

79. The Ramones: It's Alive (1974-1996) (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you’re a fan of the Ramones, you’ll absolutely adore the breadth and depth of the live material on It’s Alive. The set throws out scads of great performances and makes a strong case for the band’s greatness ... This is an absolutely terrific release that earns a glowing recommendation. I hope more acts take their cue from it and put out similar career

80. The Hustler [Blu-Ray Book] (1961)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite my much-earlier dislike for The Hustler, I now find it to offer a pretty terrific piece of work. Buoyed by some daring storytelling and excellent acting, the film holds up well after four decades. The Blu-ray offers excellent picture quality, good audio and a terrific set of supplements. The Blu-ray becomes the definitive home video release of th
