41. Diamonds Are Forever: Ultimate Edition (1971)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: How about those aficionados who already own the original Diamonds DVD – should they snag the “Ultimate Edition”? I’d recommend it. The UE offers improved visuals and audio plus a smattering of useful new extras. It’s a good upgrade. Starring Sean Connery, Jill St. John. MGM, $89.98, 11/7/2006.

42. A Nightmare On Elm Street [Blu-Ray] (1984)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A Nightmare On Elm Street isn't a perfect film, and it's probably not the best horror film ever made. However, it offers possibly the most clever and intriguing theme of any movie in its genre, and despite many flaws, it remains an exciting and provocative little picture. The Blu-ray presents very good picture and audio along with a mix of solid extras.

43. Almost Famous: Untitled - The Bootleg Cut (2000)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I whole-heartedly recommend this DVD, as it packages a wonderful movie in a fantastic manner.

44. The Living Daylights: Ultimate Edition (1987)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Should folks who already own the prior release pursue this Ultimate Edition? Probably, as it offers the superior rendition. However, it doesn’t serve as a tremendous upgrade. It provides improved picture and a few nice new extras but it doesn’t give us a stunning increase in quality. Starring Timothy Dalton, Maryam d'Abo. MGM, $89.98, 11/7/2006.

45. Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire: Ultimate Edition [Blu-Ray] (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If bonus materials matter to you, then the Ultimate Edition will be the way to go. I thought the single-disc Blu-ray lacked extras with much substance, but the UE fixes that with its many good components. Unfortunately, it’s a fairly expensive package, but I expect it’ll be a good investment for the big Potter fans. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson

46. The Commuter [Blu-ray] (2018)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A stale compilation of clichés and hamfisted plot points, The Commuter turns into a flawed thriller. Though the story comes with potential, the execution makes it a flop. Starring Liam Neeson, Vera Farmiga. Lionsgate, $34.99, 4/17/2018.

47. The Matrix Resurrections [4K UHD] (2021)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: 18 years after the franchise apparently ended, The Matrix returned with a fourth chapter appropriately called Resurrections. While the movie maintains viewer interest, it feels unnecessary and fails to expand the series in a particularly inventive manner. Starring Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss. Warner, $49.98, 3/8/2022.

49. Octopussy [Blu-Ray] (1983)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Octopussy gives us one of Roger Moore's better outings as Bond. That's somewhat faint praise, but it nonetheless remains a fun and generally solid film. Starring Roger Moore, Maud Adams. MGM, $19.98, 9/15/2015.

50. The Living Daylights (1987)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Timothy Dalton didn't last long as Bond, but his two films stand as some of the best of the series. The Living Daylights isn't quite as good as follow-up Licence to Kill, but it's a very solid effort that provides a gritty, exciting story. Starring Timothy Dalton, Maryam d'Abo. MGM, $26.98, 10/17/2000.
