171. Stagecoach: Special Edition (1939)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I definitely recommend Stagecoach, and this special edition is the one to get if you don’t have the earlier release. For fans who already own that version, though, you only need to “double-dip” if you’re interested in the supplements. They’re good and worth your time, but you won’t find any improvements in picture or audio here. Starring John Wayne, Clai

172. Mr. Peabody and Sherman [Blu-Ray] (2014)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With a broad comedic palette on which to paint, Mr. Peabody and Sherman manages occasional mirth. However, it fails to live up to its potential and seems less engaging than I’d like. Starring Ty Burrell, Max Charles. Fox, $19.98, 10/14/2014.

173. Jurassic World [4K UHD] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not the best of the franchise, Jurassic World overcomes some flaws and mostly brings us vibrant, lively action-adventure. Starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard. Universal, $79.98, 5/22/2018.

174. Flags Of Our Fathers (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Flags easily could have been a simple depiction of the story behind the famous flag raising, but the psychological view of the post-battle events makes it something more. Eastwood balances the elements well and never allows one to dominate. He melds the material into a slightly inconsistent but mostly rich and involving tale. Directed by Clint Eastwood.

175. Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: How about those aficionados who already own the original Diamonds DVD – should they snag the “Ultimate Edition”? I’d recommend it. The UE offers improved visuals and audio plus a smattering of useful new extras. It’s a good upgrade. Starring Sean Connery, Jill St. John. MGM, $89.98, 11/7/2006.

176. Bridge To Terabithia (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I went into Bridge to Terabithia with the expectation I’d find a low rent version of Narnia. However, I found much, much more from this rich, layered and moving tale ... I highly recommend this excellent film. Starring Josh Hutcherson, AnnaSophia Robb. Disney, $29.99, 6/19/2007.

178. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A pleasant surprise, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind looks trite at the start but it soon blossoms into something creative and involving. The movie doesn’t take too many predictable paths as it follows an unusual path to communicate the complications of relationships. Starring Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet. Universal, $29.98, 9/28/2004.

179. Hereafter [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With good people behind it and an ambitious framework, Hereafter should deliver a stimulating take on spiritual matters. Instead, it tends to bore, as it boasts neither drama nor intellectual heft. The Blu-ray comes with good picture and audio as well as some decent supplements. Hereafter fails to live up to its goals. Starring Matt Damon, Cécile De Fran

180. Chicken Little (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you want to see a perfect example of a perfectly average animated film, look no farther than 2005’s Chicken Little. Formulaic and moderately entertaining, it maintains the viewer’s interest to a decent degree but it never threatens to truly enchant or delight. Starring Zach Braff, Garry Marshall. Disney, $29.99, 3/21/2006.
