1. Body Bags [Blu-Ray] (1993)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a horror anthology, Body Bags lacks consistently. It’s best section offers good entertainment but the other two are less compelling – and one of them’s really pretty awful. The Blu-ray provides average picture and bonus materials along with surprisingly poor audio. Diehard John Carpenter fans will want to give this one a look, but I can’t recommend it

2. Planes [Blu-Ray 3D] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: No one will pick Planes as an animated classic, but it provides acceptable family fare. While it excels in no way, it delivers just enough entertainment to keep us with it across its 91 minutes. Starring Dane Cook, Stacy Keach. Disney, $19.99, 11/19/2013.

3. Planes [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: No one will pick Planes as an animated classic, but it provides acceptable family fare. While it excels in no way, it delivers just enough entertainment to keep us with it across its 91 minutes. The Blu-ray boasts terrific picture and audio along with minor supplements. Nothing about Planes dazzles, but it’s a watchable little cartoon adventure. Starring

4. Prison Break: Season Two (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I wondered if Season Two of Prison Break would be able to maintain the tension of Season One. To my pleasant surprise, S2 actually improves upon the series’ initial slate of shows. It provides a lively, relentless action experience that really works ... (T)he series is lots of fun, so this set earns my recommendation. Starring Dominic Purcell, Wentworth

5. Cheech & Chong's Nice Dreams (1981)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson Title: Cheech & Chong's Nice Dreams (1981) Studio Line: Columbia TriStar The High Life Never Tasted So Good! Nice Dreams -- it rhymes with ice creams. And that's what Cheech and Chong are selling in this thoroughly wacky...

6. Nebraska [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A generally good character piece, Nebraska only falters when compared to its director’s prior superior films. On its own, the movie works pretty well, though it lacks the impact I think it needs to elevate to a higher level. The Blu-ray comes with very good picture, decent audio and one informative bonus feature. Ultimately we find a quality release for

7. Prison Break: Season One (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite the potential pitfalls of a quirky premise, Prison Break proves satisfying. The series progresses at a nearly relentless pace that ensures we never get bored. The twisting plot and sense of threat keeps us interested as we always come back for more. Starring Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller. Fox, $59.98, 8/8/2006.

8. Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke: Special Collector's Edition (1978)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I guess Up in Smoke counts as a kind of comedy classic, but if you remove it from its particular era and scene, I don’t think it remains funny. Sure, the flick offers a smattering of decent laughs, but I don’t find enough amusement on display to make it worthwhile. Starring Cheech Marin, Tommy Chong. Paramount, $14.98, 9/4/2007.

9. Truth [Blu-Ray] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In Truth, we find an interesting story, but the film treats it in a flawed manner. The movie seems one-sided and lacks the insight and subtlety necessary to make it a success. Starring Cate Blanchett, Robert Redford. Sony, $34.99, 2/2/2016.

10. Kiss Me Deadly (Criterion Collection) [Blu-Ray] (1955)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A film noir with some odd twists, Kiss Me Deadly holds up well after almost six decades. Not everything here succeeds, but it works most of the time and is an interesting journey. The Blu-ray comes with pretty good picture and audio as well as a fairly nice set of supplements. Both the Blu-ray and the movie are winners. Starring Ralph Meeker, Albert Dekk
