71. September 11th: Memorial Edition (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: 10 years after the events depicted, the four programs of September 11th Memorial Edition clearly represent different facets of the day. We get four varying takes on the subject, all of which prove to be informative and often emotional. The DVD delivers acceptable picture and audio along with a good bonus featurette. The subject matter makes Memorial Edit

72. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind: Collector's Edition (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I recommended the first release of Mind and endorse this one as well - if you don’t already have the prior edition. It presents everything from the initial set plus some substantial new components. However, if you already own the original set, I find it hard to push you to double-dip. It includes a few nice elements but not enough to merit a repurchase.

73. Planes, Trains & Automobiles: "Those Aren't Pillows!" Edition (1987)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you don’t own the original Planes DVD, this one is worth your time. However, I’m not sure it merits a double dip. Yes, it includes a few supplements and it gives us a minor picture upgrade. Neither really excels, though; the new extras are disappointing, and the transfer isn’t a remarkable improvement. Starring Steve Martin, John Candy. Paramount, $14

74. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind [Blu-Ray] (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A pleasant surprise, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind looks trite at the start but it soon blossoms into something creative and involving. The movie doesn’t take too many predictable paths as it follows an unusual route to communicate the complications of relationships. The Blu-ray offers fairly good picture and audio plus a set of supplements that

75. Eagle Vs. Shark (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Want to know how I can tell just how much I loathed Eagle Vs. Shark? Just looking at the DVD’s menus nearly sent me into a fit of rage! Some folks enjoyed this insulting, idiotic claptrap, but I can’t fathom how that was possible. An hour after the flick ended, I’m still actively angry about what I saw ... If you must buy a copy of Eagle, please do so si

76. The Missing: Special Edition (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A slow-paced and largely pointless flick, The Missing goes nowhere. It lacks strong enough characters to overcome its sluggish pace, and the story remains too bland and uneventful to maintain interest. Starring Tommy Lee Jones, Cate Blanchett. Columbia TriStar, $28.95, 2/24/2004.

77. Son Of The Mask: New Line Platinum Series (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For years, fans of The Mask hoped for a sequel. Son of the Mask wasn’t what they wanted. An unfunny, idiotic and pointless collection of insipid gags, it offers absolutely nothing of value. Starring Jamie Kennedy, Alan Cumming. New Line, $27.95, 5/17/2005.

78. The Shawshank Redemption: 10th Anniversary Special Edition (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I heartily recommend this two-disc version of The Shawshank Redemption for everyone. If you don’t already own the movie, grab this version. If you possess the old DVD, upgrade for this one; it improves significantly in regard to both picture and supplements. It’s a fine movie and a solid DVD. Starring Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman. Warner, $26.99, 10/5/200

79. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977)

80. The Thin Red Line: Criterion Collection [Blu-Ray] (1998)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I won’t call The Thin Red Line a bad film, it’s definitely not one that appealed to me. I’ve now seen it three times, and though I appreciated it more with repetition - once freed from the expectations I had prior to my initial viewing - I still found little in it to sustain my attention or involve me. I thought it was lovely but ultimately empty.
