1. Ćon Flux [Blu-Ray] (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Does Aeon Flux have anything to offer the viewer other than shots of Charlize Theron in sexy outfits? Unfortunately, it doesn’t. The flick provides the occasional intriguing moment but buries these among pointless visuals and dull characters. Starring Charlize Theron, Marton Csokas. Paramount, $14.97, 10/10/2006.

2. Monster (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A film that will likely remain best known for Charlize Theron’s Oscar triumph, Monster works well as a whole. It sputters at times and becomes a little too touchy-feely in the way it treats its main character, but the overall result seems solid. Starring Charlize Theron, Christina Ricci. Columbia TriStar, $26.96, 6/1/2004.

4. Monster: Special Edition (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When it comes to recommendations, I can say that if you want to own a copy of Monster, this is the one to get. Picture and sound remain the same as the other one, but it offers a few more extras. However, if you already have the earlier release, I don’t see a strong reason to “upgrade”. You’d do so solely for the extras, and though they add some nice inf

5. The Yards: Collector's Series (2000)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With a cast full of accomplished actors, I expected something special from The Yards. Unfortunately, director James Gray shows off a lot of influences and never manages to make the thing his own. Starring Mark Wahlberg, Joaquin Phoenix, Charlize Theron. Miramax, $19.99, 12/13/2005.

6. Monster [Blu-Ray] (2003)

7. The Italian Job: Special Collector's Edition (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At times The Italian Job feels a little more generic than I’d like, but it proves generally satisfying anyway. The movie tosses out enough intriguing elements to make it a light and lively adventure that doesn’t tread any new ground but comes across as entertaining nonetheless. Starring Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron. Paramount, $29.99, 10/7/2003.

8. Hancock: Unrated Special Edition (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though the film never quite excels, Hancock offers a mostly satisfying take on superheroes. It certainly takes advantage of its intriguing concept, and it does just enough right to make it a nice piece of entertainment ... I recommend Hancock for fans of action-comic book flicks. Starring Will Smith, Charlize Theron. Sony, $34.95, 11/25/2008.

9. Kubo and the Two Strings [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite some fantastic elements and gorgeous animation, Kubo and the Two Strings presents a fairly standard mix of “hero’s journey” and “coming of age” tales. For the most part, it entertains, but it seems a little on the inconsistent side. Starring Charlize Theron, Matthew McConaughey. Universal, $14.99, 11/22/2016.
