1. The Hills Have Eyes (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although it represented a significant improvement from his first film, Wes Cravenís The Hills Have Eyes remains only intermittently positive. It offers some intense and intriguing elements but poor acting and cheap production values hinder its success. Written and Directed by Wes Craven. Anchor Bay, $29.98, 9/23/2003.

4. The Last House on the Left [Blu-Ray] (1972)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Blu-ray provides awful picture and mediocre audio, both of which were affected by the filmís bargain basement nature. We do find a nice collection of supplements, though, one that amasses all the components from both of the prior DVD releases. This is the best release of the flick due to its somewhat stronger audio and its more complete set of extras

5. A Nightmare On Elm Street [Blu-Ray] (1984)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A Nightmare On Elm Street isn't a perfect film, and it's probably not the best horror film ever made. However, it offers possibly the most clever and intriguing theme of any movie in its genre, and despite many flaws, it remains an exciting and provocative little picture. The Blu-ray presents very good picture and audio along with a mix of solid extras.

9. Cursed: Unrated Edition (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With Cursed, Wes Craven tries to do for the werewolf flick what Scream did for slasher movies. He fails. Despite a few good action sequences, it seems uninspired and tedious. Starring Christina Ricci, Shannon Elizabeth. Buena Vista, $29.98, 6/21/2005.

10. The Last House on the Left: Collector's Edition (1972)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Since I think Last House is a thoroughly awful movie, obviously I wonít recommend it to new viewers. I also hesitate to recommend it for established fans, as I think the 2002 Special Edition was as at least as good and sells for less money. Both offer virtually identical picture and audio, but they differ in terms of supplements. I think the old setís ex
