301. The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King (Limited Edition) (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Where does that leave the 2006 “Limited Edition”? It’s a good choice for fans who own no version of The Return of the King and who want to be able to see both the theatrical and extended cuts of the film. That’s the only audience to whom I can recommend the set, as I think the other versions remain preferable for the reasons mentioned above. I have no pr

303. Saved! [Blu-Ray] (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One might expect a barbed and lively satirical tale from Saved!, and the movie occasionally musters some dark energy. For the most part, though, it comes across as little more than a standard, predictable teen “coming of age” story without much cleverness or intrigue. Starring Jena Malone, Mandy Moore. Olive, $29.95, 8/16/2016.

304. Gemini Man [4K UHD] (2019)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As far as big action flicks go, Gemini Man seems middle of the pack. Though this makes it a disappointment given the talent involved, it still musters occasional thrills and remains wholly watchable. Starring Will Smith, Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Paramount, $34.99, 1/14/2020.

305. Ultraviolet: Unrated Extended Cut (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Cheesy sci-fi/action flicks are a dime a dozen, but I’ll not even throw 10 cents at Ultraviolet. The kind of flick we’ve already seen – and seen done better – this muddled movie never manages to become anything entertaining or exciting. Starring Milla Jovovich, Cameron Bright. Sony Pictures, $28.95, 6/27/2006.

306. Airport '77 (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A tedious and dull disaster movie, Airport ‘77 didn’t live up to its potential. With an excellent cast and a theoretically interesting scenario, the film could have been the best of the series. Unfortunately, it bores us to death with its endless focus on logistics. Starring Jack Lemmon, Lee Grant. Universal, $19.98, 2/10/2004.

307. Spider-Man: Far From Home [4K UHD] (2019)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a superhero adventure, Spider-Man: Far From Home offers a sporadically entertaining affair. However, it doesn’t connect as well as I’d like, so it becomes a moderate disappointment. Starring Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal. Sony, $45.99, 10/1/2019.

308. Breakfast At Tiffany's: Anniversary Edition (1961)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Frankly, I can’t see why Breakfast at Tiffany’s ever turned into a classic. The movie offers strange casting choices, a thin story and an erratic tone. None of this makes it very involving or entertaining. Starring Audrey Hepburn, George Peppard. Paramount, $19.99, 2/7/2006.

309. Murder On The Orient Express (1974)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A classic murder mystery told in a fine manner, Murder on the Orient Express provides a satisfying experience. The movie moves briskly and uses its all-star cast well to create an engaging and entertaining throwback. Starring Albert Finney, Lauren Bacall. Paramount, $14.99, 9/7/2004.

310. Das Boot: The Original Uncut Version (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Clearly the Superbit DVD provides the strongest mix of audio and video quality. This uncut release of Das Boot gives us the best version of the film but it features the weakest overall level of quality, largely because the audio seems radically inferior. Directed by Wolfgang Petersen. Columbia TriStar, $39.95, 6/1/2004.
