131. Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince: Special Edition (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though I initially found Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to be a weak entry in the series, a second viewing better revealed its charms. While the movie suffers from some issues that stem from its place in the chronology, it still manages to create fairly good drama. The DVD offers effective audio and a decent smattering of supplements, but picture

133. A Clockwork Orange: Anniversary Edition [Blu-Ray] (1971)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 40 years, A Clockwork Orange remains an amazing and powerful film. I continue to feel wholeheartedly that it was easily Stanley Kubrick’s best work. The Blu-ray offers good picture, audio and extras. This is the best release of the film to date. Starring Malcolm McDowell, Patrick Magee. Warner, $34.99, 5/31/2011.

134. The Dark Knight Rises [4K UHD] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Dark Knight Rises doesn’t quite match the heights of its immediate predecessor, but it comes much closer than expected and brings the series to a rousing finish. If Dark Knight was a 10, Rises is a 9.5. Starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy. Warner, $41.99, 12/19/2017.

135. War Of The Worlds: Limited Edition (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A science-fiction film by Steven Spielberg has to fill some big shoes. A thoroughly exciting and enjoyable action/horror flick, War of the Worlds lives up to expectations. I wouldn't classify it on the level of Spielberg's absolute best work, but it's definitely one of the strongest movies he's made in years. Starring Tom Cruise, Dakota Fanning. Dreamwor

The DVD offers very good picture, audio and extras. This is the best DVD representation of my favorite Kubrick flick, and I think it’s a very worthwhile purchase. 138. 2001: A Space Odyssey - Special Edition (1968)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I continue to maintain mixed feelings about 2001 itself, I can’t argue with its enduring legacy and the high level at which it was executed. This DVD presents excellent picture and very good audio. The extras are a bit of a mixed bag but they add value to the set. This is definitely the best 2001 release to date. Written & Directed by Stanley Kubri

139. Disneyland Secrets, Stories, And Magic (Walt Disney Treasures) (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Sometimes a DVD provides great extras and a mediocre main program. That occurs with Disneyland Secrets, Stories and Magic. The titular documentary is fluffy and frustrating, with average picture and audio quality. However, we get lots of fine supplements here, as we discover loads of fascinating archival elements. Those make this a worthwhile collection

140. The Godfather: The Coppola Restoration - Bonus Material
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While the original 2001 Godfather boxed set faltered due to problematic visuals and audio for the three movies, 2008’s “The Godfather: The Coppola Restoration” finally corrects these issues. Picture and sound for the different films seemed generally solid, and the extras included in the package helped make this a special set. From three separate audio co
