101. Forbidden Planet: 50th Anniversary Special Edition (1956)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Forbidden Planet remains an enjoyable experience. It earns points simply as a forefather of so much later science fiction; it takes little effort to see its influence elsewhere. But Planet’s draw doesn’t come solely from its historical merit, as it continues to entertain. Starring Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis. Warner, $26.98, 11/14/2006.

102. Alexander: Director's Cut (Special Edition) (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I didn’t see the theatrical cut, so I don’t know if this one improves upon it. Since I didn’t like this version of Alexander, I find it hard to believe it’s significantly superior to the theatrical edition, but who knows? Maybe that one was even more boring than the director’s cut. Starring Colin Farrell, Val Kilmer. Warner, $29.95, 8/2/2005.

103. The Evil Dead [Blu-Ray] (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For all its legendary status, I must admit I’m not all that wild about Evil Dead. I think it’s entertaining and respect its status as a groundbreaker, but it just doesn’t do a lot for me based on its own merits. The disc provides surprisingly positive picture and sound plus a nice roster of supplements highlighted by a great commentary. Evil Dead isn’t a

107. Tomorrow Never Dies [Blu-Ray] (1997)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In 1997, Tomorrow Never Dies left me a little cold, but I’ve come to better enjoy some of its charms over the years. It doesn’t provide the spark found in the best Bond flicks, but it works pretty nicely on its own. Starring Pierce Brosnan, Jonathan Pryce. MGM, $14.98, 9/15/2015.

108. Near Dark (1987)
Reviewed by Blake Kenny: Coupled together with some strong casting, good visual effects and a nice helping of the macabre - Near Dark makes for a pretty decent little vampire flick.

109. The Dark Knight [Blu-Ray] (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Fans need to put The Dark Knight on the short list of the best superhero movies ever made. Heck, I could argue it’s the best of its genre, as the film provides a thoroughly dramatic and exciting experience that dazzles from start to finish. Starring Christian Bale, Heath Ledger. Warner, $41.99, 12/19/2017.

110. Alien Vs Predator: Unrated Director's Cut (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I didn’t recommend the prior DVD, so it should come as little surprise that I don’t change my tune for the new one. Which one should fans get? If you don’t own the original disc, I’d definitely advise that you buy this one. Both present similar picture and audio, but the new DVD includes superior extras. However, those elements aren’t so terrific that I
