31. The Wiz [Blu-Ray] (1978)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Nostalgia can be a powerful thing, but it can only take you so far. Due to my fond childhood memories of The Wiz, I wanted to like it, but I couldn’t get past its myriad flaws to enjoy it. A few aspects of the flick succeed, but too much of it flops. The Blu-ray boasts generally good picture and audio but it skimps on extras. This is definitely the best

32. The 6th Day [Blu-Ray] (2000)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a whole, The 6th Day offers a watchable but overly long and bland action film. It never becomes a bad flick, but it fails to engage or excite much. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert Duvall. Sony, $19.99, 4/28/2008.

33. X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I think X-Men: The Last Stand offers the weakest of the three films in the series, and it suffers from some unnecessary flaws. That said, it still packs enough of a comic book bunch to entertain. It’s not a great movie, but it keeps us interested despite its misfires. Starring Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen. Fox, $29.98, 10/3/2006.

34. The Batman [4K UHD] (2022)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Another reboot of the franchise, The Batman brings the darkest, grittiest – and most pretentious – version of the character to date. Aspects of the movie succeed, but it lacks the consistency it needs to become one of the best superhero flicks. Starring Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz. Warner, $49.98, 5/24/2022.

35. Superman III: Deluxe Edition (1983)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I certainly can’t recommend a movie as bad as SIII to anyone other than Superman die-hards. Should those who already own the original DVD get this one? Probably. It offers a minor picture quality upgrade along with a few supplements they’ll enjoy. Anyone without a serious interest in Supes should skip it, though. Starring Christopher Reeve, Richard Pryor

36. Superman III (1983)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The addition of some solid extras might have made Superman III a good package, but as it stands, the result is a dud. The movie itself had a few decent moments, but these were heavily outweighed by lame comedy and unexciting action ... Superman III should be left for the completists alone. Starring Christopher Reeve, Richard Pryor. Warner, $19.98, 5/1/20

Due to my fond childhood memories of The Wiz, I wanted to like it, but I couldn’t get past its myriad flaws to enjoy it. A few aspects of the flick succeed, but too much of it flops ...
