41. Payback: Straight Up (Director's Cut) (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A dark, cynical crime fantasy, Payback entertains in a brutal, sadistic manner, but it never manages to be anything more than moderately compelling. It feels stuck in its late 90s era and lacks the spark of better films from its genre ... Though I’m not wild about the movie, this is a strong DVD and will definitely be of great interest to fans of Payback

42. Signs (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Signs held up quite well to an additional viewing, as it continued to present a taut and well-executed tale.

43. The Passion of the Christ (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Not that a lack of supplements will slow down the juggernaut called The Passion of the Christ, which has already sold millions of DVDs. For those who came to it as part of the base audience, obviously the film worked for them. It didn’t do much for me. The flick seemed more elegant than I expected, but it lacked a substantial emotional impact and came ac

44. Pocahontas: Disney Gold Classics Collection (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I enjoy Pocahontas and think it's a rather underrated Disney feature, though still not one of their best pictures. This DVD is a definite disappointment, though. It presents decent but unexceptional audio along with problematic picture and almost no extras. It doesn’t do justice to the movie and it’s a pretty weak DVD. Starring Irene Bedard, Mel Gibson.

46. Daddy's Home 2 [4K UHD] (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Like the first film, Daddy’s Home 2 offers a messy mix of weak comedic bits and thin characters. Its cast adds some class but the movie fails to create real entertainment. Starring Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg. Paramount, $39.99, 2/20/2018.

47. Father Stu [Blu-Ray] (2022)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As an inspirational tale, Father Stu benefits from a rough-around-the-edges feel unusual for the genre. However, despite a good cast and a solid lead performance from Mark Wahlberg, the end result comes across as slow and oddly uncompelling. Starring Mark Wahlberg, Teresa Ruiz. Sony, $30.99, 6/14/2022.

48. The Road Warrior [Blu-Ray] (1981)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although I can’t say I loved Mad Max, I found it preferable to its often slow, often campy sequel. The Road Warrior ends with a bang but plods on its way to its big finale. The Blu-ray brings us generally good picture and audio along with a worthwhile commentary. This is a pretty nice release but the movie leaves me surprisingly cold ... Note that this

49. Lethal Weapon: The Lethal Weapon Collection [Blu-Ray] (1987)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: An influential “buddy flick”, Lethal Weapon holds up reasonably well after 25 years. While it’s not a great film, it creates decent entertainment and remains easily the best in its franchise. The Blu-ray provides erratic but generally positive picture and audio along with some similarly erratic supplements. Nothing here excels, but this becomes a fairly

50. Lethal Weapon 2: The Lethal Weapon Collection [Blu-Ray] (1989)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After the pretty good first movie, Lethal Weapon 2 delivers a perfectly okay sequel and that’s about it. The movie has some good moments and never threatens to turn rancid, but it still shows negative tendencies and can’t live up to the original. The Blu-ray gives us fairly positive picture and audio but supplements disappoint, mainly due to the presence
