11. Julie & Julia [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a Blu-ray, Julie works acceptably well. It provides lovely picture quality along with adequate audio and a mix of fairly unexceptional extras. This is a pretty good Blu-ray, but the movie itself only succeeds half the time. If you watch it, keep the remote handy so you can zip through the ďJulieĒ segments; stick with ďJuliaĒ and youíll enjoy it much m

12. Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events: Collector's Edition (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I donít think Lemony Snicketís A Series of Unfortunate Events consistently fires on all cylinders, as some awkward episodic plotting and too much focus on guest actors makes it a bit jerky at times. However, a strong lead performance from Jim Carrey and a delightful cynical tone mean that it usually entertains. Starring Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep. Paramoun

13. Doubt [Blu-Ray] (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Doubt makes a successful move from the stage to the big screen. The movie suffers from a few flaws, but it packs a good punch and keeps us involved. Starring Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman. Miramax, $9.99, 4/26/2011.

15. Kramer Vs. Kramer [Blu-Ray] (1979)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I donít believe that Kramer Vs. Kramer was the best film of 1979, it did provide a reasonably engaging and vivid experience. The movie offered generally solid acting and an involving and believable story. Starring Dustin Hoffman, Meryl Streep. Sony, $19.99, 12/17/2009.

16. Manhattan [Blu-Ray] (1979)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Frankly, I didn't think much of Manhattan. It remained largely watchable and mildly entertaining, but it seemed shallow and lacked characters or events that would interest me. TheBlu-ray delivers very good visuals and acceptable audio but lacks supplements. Iím not wild about Manhattan but feel sure that its fans will be pleased by its presentation here.

17. It's Complicated [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With three talented stars as its leads, I thought Itís Complicated wouldíve been at least partially entertaining. Unfortunately, the film suffers from thin characters and story, and those actors fail to elevate the material. The Blu-ray offers very good picture, decent audio, and a small set of supplements highlighted by a generally interesting commentar

18. Out Of Africa: Collector's Edition (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I can't whole-heartedly recommend Out Of Africa, I can't really steer you away from it either. No, the film didn't do a lot for me, but I can understand why a lot of others like it and why it's been so successful ... For those who enjoy this kind of film, Out Of Africa should make a nice addition to your collection. Others who are iffier toward the

19. Lions For Lambs (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With a much-lauded roster of actors present, many expected great things from Lions for Lambs. Unfortunately, the end result was a thin, ham-fisted piece of propaganda that can entertain but never remotely lives up to its potential ... Though this is a decent DVD, the movie itself never proves very interesting. Starring Robert Redford, Meryl Streep. Unite

20. Rendition (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If it focused more on characters and plot and less on political commentary, Rendition mightíve become more potent. As it stands, the movie has some moments but tends to veer into territory that makes it more like an editorial than a real story ... I canít complain about this fine release, but the film itself doesnít prosper enough for my recommendation.
