21. The Bucket List (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Perhaps someone more daring than Rob Reiner could’ve turned The Bucket List into something memorable. Unfortunately, he goes for lowest common denominator territory in this predictable, sentimental and tedious affair. The DVD provides bland picture and audio; it also lacks substantial extras. Skip this dud. Starring Jack Nicholson, Morgan Freeman. Warner

22. Dolphin Tale [Blu-Ray 3D] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Films under the banner of “inspirational family fare” tend to inspire more nauseated gags than contented sighs, but Dolphin Tale usually stays on the positive side of the ledger. Despite some sags and missteps, the movie delivers a warm, enjoyable experience. Starring Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd. Warner, $34.57, 12/20/2011.

23. Lucy [Blu-Ray] (2014)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Back in 2014, Lucy made a lot of money and received generally good reviews. I can’t figure out why it enjoyed any enthusiasm, as I think it delivers an idiotic, pretentious experience with few positives. Starring Scarlett Johansson, Morgan Freeman. Universal, $14.98, 1/20/2015.

24. March Of The Penguins (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A true sleeper hit, March of the Penguins came out of nowhere to become one of the summer’s most notable successes. And it deserves this, as it offers a warm and involving tale of determination and survival. Narrated By Morgan Freeman. Warner, $29.97, 11/29/2005.

25. Angel Has Fallen [4K UHD] (2019)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Three films into the franchise and Angel Has Fallen delivers the same braindead action found in the first two. Despite a strong cast and potential thrills, the movie seems too stupid to entertain. Starring Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman. Lionsgate, $42.99, 11/26/2019.

26. London Has Fallen [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Even though I hated Olympus Has Fallen, I hoped its sequel would offer something entertaining. Alas, it doesn’t, as London Has Fallen becomes another stale, trite action flick without redeeming value. Starring Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman. Universal, $9.98, 6/14/2016.

28. Outbreak (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Patently absurd and often clunky, I should probably maintain a strong dislike for Outbreak. Despite its many weaknesses, though, the movie offers enough tension and excitement to make it enjoyable ... I can find some entertainment in this spotty movie, but the DVD itself is a mess. Starring Dustin Hoffman, Rene Russo. Warner, $12.98, 5/21/1997.

29. Gone Baby Gone (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Slam him as an actor if you’d like, but Ben Affleck shows tons of promise as a filmmaker with his directorial debut. Gone Baby Gone occasionally slips, but it usually provides a rich, involving tale that doesn’t tell the audience what to think ... This deep, thoughtful flick deserves your attention. Starring Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan. Miramax, $29
