21. Thor: Love and Thunder [Blu-Ray] (2022)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I thought Ragnarok pulled the franchise too far from its roots, Thor: Love and Thunder brings a better balance. It melds comedy, action and drama in a satisfying manner that makes it a nice bounceback after the prior flick. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman. Disney, $34.99, 9/27/2022.

22. Annihilation [Blu-Ray] (2018)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After a promising debut, Alex Garland falters somewhat with Annihilation. While the movieís sumptuous visual style gives it a boost, the movie drags and falls short of its goals. Starring Natalie Portman, Oscar Isaac. Paramount, $39.99, 5/29/2018.

23. Leon: The Professional (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although the lack of significant extras keeps Leon from the ranks of the great DVDs, it possesses the most important component: a terrific movie. The film effectively combines hard-hitting action with moving drama to create an indelible piece of work that seems very effective. Starring Jean Reno, Natalie Portman. Columbia, $29.95, 10/3/2000.

24. Thor [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As someone who never was wild about the comic series, I didnít expect much from Thor. While I canít say the film dazzles, it does entertain and it brings the characters/situations to life in a fairly satisfying manner. The Blu-ray presents strong visuals, excellent audio and a nice set of bonus materials highlighted by a terrific commentary. Thor doesnít

25. Leon: The Professional (Superbit) (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Usually I think that Superbit DVDs are at least equal in quality to their predecessors, and most of them are better, even if only by a little. In the case of Leon, unfortunately, the prior DVD is the one to get. Starring Jean Reno, Natalie Portman. Columbia, $26.95, 9/9/2003.

26. Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith [4K UHD] (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: How history will view the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy remains to be seen. However, it seems likely that Revenge of the Sith will go down as the strongest of the three. While it suffers from some of the same flaws that marred its two predecessors, it packs much more of an emotional wallop and ends the series well. Starring Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman. Di

27. Star Wars: Episode II - Attack Of The Clones (Star Wars Saga) [Blu-Ray] (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After nine years, my opinion of Attack of the Clones remains in flux. I didnít care for the flick much when I saw it theatrically, but I found it to seem substantially more compelling during my subsequent viewings. The Blu-ray delivers excellent visuals and audio along with two interesting commentaries. I think Clones is a stronger movie than commonly be

28. Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)

29. Heat (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Heat really tries to posit the balances we have to make between our hearts and our heads, and how we deal with that. It's not the most exhaustive study you could want to see, but it's a surprise from this kind of a film, and it's very effective. Starring Al Pacino, Robert De Niro. Warner, $19.98, 7/27/1999.

30. Hesher [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A drama about grief that attempts to deliver something unusual, Hesher flops. It tends to seem aimless and doesnít bother to explore its themes or characters well. The Blu-ray comes with pretty good picture and audio as well as a smattering of supplements. Hesher tries to add attitude to a sentimental genre but fails to do so in a compelling manner. Star
