1. Shanghai Noon: Two Movie Collection [Blu-Ray] (2000)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Shanghai Noon attempts a minor variation on the buddy flick with lackluster results. It never quite comes together and remains a forgettable effort. The Blu-ray gives us strong picture and audio along with a reasonably useful little set of supplements. This ends up as a quality release for a mediocre film. Starring Jackie Chan, Owen Wilson. Touchstone, $

2. Midnight in Paris [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though it does not compare with Woody Allen’s stronger work, Midnight in Paris at least gives us a minor comeback after a string of duds. Owen Wilson helps sell the silly story and it turns into a moderately enjoyable affair. Starring Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams. Sony, $19.99, 12/20/2011.

3. Shanghai Knights (2003)
Reviewed by David Williams: Shanghai Knights was admittedly funny in parts, but it was funny in a very unremarkable and instantly forgettable way.

4. Wedding Crashers [Blu-Ray] (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I don’t think Wedding Crashers is a great film, and I have no idea how well future generations will view it. Nonetheless, it does more right than wrong, and it presents good pure entertainment. Despite a third act that sags, this is still a fun production likely to amuse. Starring Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn. New Line, $14.97, 12/30/2008.

6. The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou: Criterion Collection (2-Disc Special Edition) (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou falls into the category of quiet, unassuming movies. Sure, it goes for an action bent at times, but it doesn’t overshoot its boundaries as it remains mostly soft and quirky. It takes a while to get going, but by its conclusion you realize you’ve seen something very good. Starring Bill Murray, Owen Wilson. Criterion, $32

7. Shanghai Knights: Two Movie Collection [Blu-Ray] (2003)
Reviewed by David Williams: Shanghai Knights could be funny at times, but it never became memorable. It offered a breezy way to blow a couple of hours and nothing more. The Blu-ray delivers very good picture and audio along with a generally positive set of bonus materials that accent two commentaries. The Blu-ray upgrades the DVD but the movie itself remains mediocre. Starring Jac

8. Starsky & Hutch (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Given the overabundance of bad movies adapted from TV shows, I didn’t expect much from Starsky & Hutch. However, the film offered a refreshingly charming and amusing affair that consistently entertains. Starring Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson. Warner, $27.95, 7/20/2004.

9. Marry Me [Blu-Ray] (2022)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One can certainly find many rom-coms weaker than Marry Me, but that fails to act as an actual endorsement. The movie benefits from the charm of its leads but it runs too long and lacks the inspiration it needs to become better than mediocre. Starring Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson. Universal, $34.98, 3/29/2022.

10. Midnight In Paris (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though it doesn’t compare with Woody Allen’s stronger work, Midnight in Paris at least gives us a minor comeback after a string of duds. Owen Wilson helps sell the silly story and it turns into a moderately enjoyable affair. The DVD comes with acceptably good picture, mediocre audio and skimpy supplements. This is a spotty but generally likable film. Wri
