Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Horton Hears a Who! offers an entertaining programs that has endured for decades. Horton sounds like prior DVDs but it provides significant improvements in terms of its visuals. It also comes with a mix of new extras to add value. These factors make the “Deluxe Edition” of Horton a nice release. Written by Dr. Seuss. Warner, $19.99, 3/4/2008.

- 72. LA Story (1991)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With LA Story, Steve Martin attempts a mix of satire and romantic comedy. None of this succeeds, as the film becomes little more than a series of cheap gags and annoying characters. Starring Steve Martin, Victoria Tennant. Lionsgate, $9.98, 6/13/2006.

- 73. Star Trek: The Next Generation - Redemption [Blu-Ray] (2013)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As was the case with “The Best of Both Worlds”, it can be tough to recommend this “Redemption” Blu-ray – at least to die-hard fans. If you already plan to buy Seasons Four and Five of TNG, you don’t get great value from the “Redemption” Blu-ray. It lets you see the two episodes edited into one “movie” and adds a couple of extras, but that doesn’t seem li

- 79. Ted [Blu-Ray] (2012)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Ted comes with a fun premise but inconsistent execution. It mixes clever gags with cheap jokes to offer a tremendously up and down comedic experience. The Blu-ray provides generally good picture and audio along with a fairly useful batch of bonus materials. Ted will probably delight Seth MacFarlane fans but it seems less likely to win over new converts.
