21. Dinner Rush (2001)
Reviewed by David Williams: Dinner Rush was a great find that was entirely entertaining, as well as gave the viewer an interesting look behind-the-scenes of a working restaurant.

22. Dog Day Afternoon: Special Edition (1975)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Gritty and blunt, Dog Day Afternoon offers an unusual bank robbery flick. It goes down unexpected paths and benefits from a frank, restrained tone. Starring Al Pacino, John Cazale. Warner, $26.98, 2/26/2006.

23. A Beautiful Mind [Blu-Ray] (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I didn’t expect to care for A Beautiful Mind, I actually found it to offer a reasonably engaging experience. The movie suffered from some of director Ron Howard’s soppy tendencies, but it usually came across as a believable and compelling examination of one man’s battle with mental illness. Starring Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly. Universal, $1

24. Magnolia [Blu-Ray] (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: 1999 was a strong year for movies, but even among that crop, Magnolia stands out as one of the best. It's a lovely and lyrical piece that works well despite its lack of a plot and its very long running time. The Blu-ray offers excellent picture, good sound and a few interesting supplements. This release provides a quality rendition of an intriguing film.

25. A Clockwork Orange [Blu-Ray] (1971)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 40 years, A Clockwork Orange remains an amazing and powerful film. I continue to feel wholeheartedly that it was easily Stanley Kubrick’s best work. The Blu-ray offers good picture, audio and extras. I’m not sure that this is a substantial upgrade over the Special Edition DVD, but if you don’t own that one, go for this Blu-ray release. Starring Mal

The DVD offers very good picture, audio and extras. This is the best DVD representation of my favorite Kubrick flick, and I think it’s a very worthwhile purchase. 29. The Odd Couple: The First Season (1970)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although I always loved The Odd Couple, I must admit I didn’t approach Season One with great gusto. I remembered later years as superior, so I thought Season One would be rather up and down. However, the 24 episodes boast many strong shows, and even the worst ones still offer good entertainment. Starring Tony Randall, Jack Klugman. Paramount, $42.99, 4/2
