-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Over the last 40 years, Vacation turned into something of a comedy classic. I do not feel quite sure it deserves that vaunted status, but the film still seems pretty amusing and entertaining in any case. Starring Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo. Warner, $12.97, 5/21/2013.

- 23. Planes [Blu-Ray] (2013)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: No one will pick Planes as an animated classic, but it provides acceptable family fare. While it excels in no way, it delivers just enough entertainment to keep us with it across its 91 minutes. The Blu-ray boasts terrific picture and audio along with minor supplements. Nothing about Planes dazzles, but it’s a watchable little cartoon adventure. Starring

- 25. The Silence Of The Lambs: Collector's Edition (1991)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For those who don’t already own a DVD of The Silence of the Lambs, they’ll have little choice. The Criterion disc is out of print and it fetches high prices at auction, which makes it an unrealistic option for most. Except for the audio, this Collector’s Edition is a good step up from the 2001 Special Edition, as it improves picture quality and adds usef

- 26. The Matrix Reloaded: Special Edition (The Ultimate Matrix Collection) (2003)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: It may not pack the innovative punch of its predecessor, but The Matrix Reloaded creates a powerful flick on its own. Inconsistent but ultimately satisfying, it leaves me wanting more and anxious for the final chapter in the trilogy. Starring Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne. Warner, $79.92, 12/7/2004.

The Blu-ray offers good picture plus fairly positive audio and a mediocre collection of supplements. This never becomes a great release

- 28. Scary Movie 4: Unrated And Uncensored (2006)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you liked Scary Movie 3, will you enjoy Scary Movie 4? Probably, since they’re really the same film. Scary 4 adjusts its references but in no other way bothers to update the formula. That makes it even less amusing than its already tedious predecessor. Starring Anna Faris, Regina Hall. Weinstein Company, $29.95, 8/15/2006.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A View to a Kill offers weak Bond and can arguably be considered the worst 007 film to date, but even poor Bond still remains moderately fun and entertaining. Starring Roger Moore, Christopher Walken. MGM, $19.98, 10/2/2012.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A fairly middle of the road Star Trek flick, Nemesis has its moments but doesn’t stand with the best of the series. Although it appears generally well made and entertaining, but it doesn’t quite move well enough to qualify as a true Trek winner. Starring Patrick Stewart, Tom Hardy. Paramount, $15.99, 4/30/2013.
