71. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies - Extended Edition [Blu-Ray] (2014)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Does The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies finish the trilogy in a satisfying fashion? Yes and no – while it comes with plenty of excitement, it lacks the emotional depth/impact that it needs. Starring Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman. New Line, $35.99, 11/17/2015.

72. I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry takes a pretty lame premise and turns it into an even less intriguing film. Packed with cheap gags, nary a laugh can be found ... This ends up as a mediocre release for a truly terrible movie. Starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James. Universal, $29.98, 11/6/2007.

74. Supergirl: The Complete First Season [Blu-Ray] (2015-16)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With the first season of Supergirl, we get a good reboot for an oft-neglected character. The series enjoys a pretty solid level of consistency and creates a lot of action and entertainment across its 20 episodes.Starring Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks. Warner, $54.97, 8/9/2016.

75. Dickie Roberts, Former Child Star: Special Edition (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: No one will mistake Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star for one of the all-time great comedies, but it manages to become something stronger than most vehicles for SNL alumni. A spotty but generally entertaining flick, Roberts misfires at times but benefits from nice performances, especially the surprisingly natural and deft turn from David Spade. Starring

76. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (Extended Edition) [Blu-Ray] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not as good as any of the Lord of the Rings films, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey launches a new franchise in an enjoyable manner. The movie’s “Extended Edition” delivers a mild variation on the theatrical cut that’s fun to see but doesn’t substantially alter/improve the original. Starring Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman. 78. Total Recall [Blu-Ray] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not a failure as a movie, Total Recall delivers a fairly limp remake. Despite a stronger cast and superior production values, it lacks the basic “fun factor” of the original and never does a lot to engage the viewer. The Blu-ray comes with excellent picture and audio as well as a generally solid collection of bonus materials. This becomes a quality

79. A Clockwork Orange [Blu-Ray] (1971)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 40 years, A Clockwork Orange remains an amazing and powerful film. I continue to feel wholeheartedly that it was easily Stanley Kubrick’s best work. The Blu-ray offers good picture, audio and extras. I’m not sure that this is a substantial upgrade over the Special Edition DVD, but if you don’t own that one, go for this Blu-ray release.
