11. Race To Witch Mountain [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While the original 1970s movies werenít classics, they look brilliant compared to the lamentable Race to Witch Mountain. Essentially little more than a loud, faceless piece of action nonsense, the film lacks personality or entertainment value. The Blu-ray provides excellent picture and audio but lacks substantial supplements. I love the presentation of t

12. Watchmen: Director's Cut (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Ambitious and epic, Watchmen doesnít always fire on all cylinders. However, it more completely captures the spirit and scope of the source comic than one could realistically expect, and it turns into an engaging movie. The DVD provides terrific audio, but picture quality is mediocre at best, and the package comes with average supplements. I think the fli

13. Night At The Museum: Special Edition (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Fans can buy Museum in two flavors: this two-disc Special Edition and a single DVD version. The latter offers this packageís first disc on its own. The SE retails for $5 more than the simpler set, and I think itís worth it. If you donít care about supplements, donít bother, but if they interest you, drop a few extra bucks and enjoy all the nice materials

14. Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not on a par with the first movie, Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams nonetheless provides a reasonably entertaining piece of work.

15. Sin City: Recut, Extended & Unrated (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I recommend this package for pretty much anyone with an interest in Sin City. I advised a rental when I reviewed the movie-only disc since I knew this one would come out before long, so hopefully you skipped a purchase of the original set. If so, definitely snag this excellent edition. Heck, even if you did buy the basic DVD, this oneís worth an upgrade

16. Sin City: Recut, Extended & Unrated (2005) [Blu-Ray]
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Fans who already own the prior release of the ďRecut, Extended and UnratedĒ version of Sin City wonít pursue this Blu-Ray edition for its pair of exclusive supplements; only one is actually useful, and even it doesnít truly impress. However, they will go after this Blu-Ray because it looks really, really good. In terms of film presentation, this is the d

17. Night At The Museum [Blu-Ray] (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Night at the Museum wins no points for originality or brilliance. However, it amuses on a consistent basis and gives us a lively piece of entertainment. The Blu-ray offers erratic but good picture, very nice audio and a few decent extras. Nothing about this release excels, but it satisfies, and the movie remains enjoyable. Starring Ben Stiller, Robin Wil

19. Sin City (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With imaginative visuals and a wildly gory setting, Sin City wonít be for everyone. However, folks who like the idea of an exaggerated comic book film noir will likely dig this creative and entertaining effort. Starring Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba. Dimension, $29.99, 8/16/2005.
