11. The Pacifier (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Comedy for the easy to amuse, the financial success of The Pacifier makes my teeth hurt. Outside of a game performance from Vin Diesel, there’s almost nothing to like about this idiotic, simplistic attempt at cheap humor. Starring Vin Diesel, Lauren Graham. Disney, $29.99, 6/28/2005.

14. Annie Hall [Blu-Ray] (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 35 years, Annie Hall remains arguably Woody Allen’s finest achievement. I might prefer a couple of other films, but it’s still a strong enterprise with few flaws. The Blu-ray provides good picture and acceptable audio but skimps of supplements. I wish Allen would open up to bonus materials, but I don’t blame the Blu-ray’s producers for this issue.

16. The Year Without A Santa Claus (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: How could anyone like a movie that casts the loathsome “Dr. Laura” as a wise guru? It would take a product much better than this to overcome such impediments such as that and “Queer Eye” Carson Kressley’s mincing performance as a fashion elf. This is atrocious Christmas product with no redeeming value. Starring John Goodman, Eddie Griffin. Warner, $19.98

17. Casablanca [4K UHD] (1942)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Nothing I could say would even remotely dislodge Casablanca from its perch as a classic, and I would not want to try. I do not think it totally lives up to its reputation, but I find it to offer a very well-crafted and engaging film. Starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman. Warner, $33.99, 11/8/2022.

18. The Toxic Avenger Part III: The Last Temptation of Toxie [4K UHD] (1989)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After two flawed movies, I went into The Toxic Avenger Part III: The Last Temptation of Toxie with low hopes. The movie matched those low expectations, as it brought another disjointed and not especially entertaining affair. Starring John Altamura, Phoebe Legere. Troma, $99.99, 10/24/23.

19. Seinfeld: Season 5 (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Did Season Five of Seinfeld measure up to the heights achieved in Season Four? Probably not, but any possible decline in quality remained marginal. Season Five continued to offer consistently strong material, as only a couple of episodes were relatively mediocre. The visuals and audio were unexceptional but just fine, and they improved slightly over prio

20. Casablanca: 70th Anniversary Limited Collector's Edition [Blu-Ray] (1942)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: So what’s a Casablanca fan to do? Probably wait and hope that WB puts out this set’s first disc on its own in the not-too-distant future. While I like the documentaries on Disc Two as well as the book and poster, they’re just not worth the package’s nearly $65 list price. If you don’t care about the cost, the 70th Anniversary release will make you happy,
