11. It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown [Blu-Ray] (1966)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: [I] can’t recommend the Blu-ray – at least not as a replacement for the DVD, which offers the superior presentation of the program. Yes, the Blu-ray’s visuals top the DVD’s, but the extras are the same, and the DVD’s audio is significant better than the Blu-ray’s. If you don’t own Pumpkin at all, this Blu-ray is an acceptable purchase; you might like th

12. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving [Blu-Ray] (1973)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is a good but not great Peanuts special. It provides some fun but doesn't quite live up to the heights of better shows. Thanksgiving features erratic but usually good picture and a few decent supplements, bur the remixed audio disappoints. The lack of the more satisfying original monaural soundtrack makes the Blu-ray a misfi

13. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving: Deluxe Edition (1973)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: ... Note that this DVD also can be purchased in a boxed set called “The Peanuts Deluxe Holiday Collection. That package also includes A Charlie Brown Christmas and It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and it lists for $44.76. That almost makes it a “two for the price of one” package. Since all three specials are good, the “Collection” offers a nice barg

14. Snoopy Come Home (1972)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Snoopy Come Home has some flaws, but it overcomes those with a warm, moving little tale. Starring Chad Webber, Robin Kohn. Paramount, $14.98, 3/28/2006.

15. A Charlie Brown Christmas [4K UHD] (1965)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A holiday staple, A Charlie Brown Christmas remains a classic after more than 50 years. It continues to charm and delight. Written by Charles M. Schulz. Warner, $29.98, 10/31/2017.

16. A Boy Named Charlie Brown: Peanuts Double Feature (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The DVD is nothing special, though. It offers surprisingly good audio but provides flawed picture and no extras. The combination of a likable movie and a low list price makes this one a disc I recommend, but not without some qualms due to the lackluster quality of this release ... Note that this release of A Boy Named Charlie Brown comes as part of a dou

17. A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I also liked the It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown disc, this package probably offers the best of Peanuts shows. A Charlie Brown Christmas remains a classic after more than 40 years. Created by Charles M. Schulz. Paramount, $19.99, 9/12/2000.

18. Peanuts: 1960's Collection (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: It’s a disappointment that 1960s Collection lacks the extras that appear on the solo DVDs for Great Pumpkin and Christmas, but the inclusion of four new-to-DVD specials makes this a must-own release for Peanuts fans. Created by Charles M. Schulz. Warner, $29.98, 7/7/2009.

19. A Boy Named Charlie Brown (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As one who grew up with Peanuts TV specials and movies, I may not be the most objective judge of A Boy Named Charlie Brown. The fact I still adore the comic strips and remember the other pieces fondly makes me biased, but I think even when I try to view things objectively, Boy works. It’s charming and entertaining. Starring Peter Robbins, Pamelyn Ferdin.

20. Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: You’d be hard-pressed to find a better animated holiday special than A Charlie Brown Christmas, but it wouldn’t take much effort to locate something stronger than the forgettable Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tales. It delivers a brief, erratic piece with nothing more than minor entertainment value. The DVD offers flawed visuals, adequate audio and a pretty
