51. The Hollars [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A fairly trite family drama, The Hollars lacks real highs. While it boasts a fine cast, it comes with too much of a “been there, done that” vibe via the stale story and characters. Starring John Krasinski, Anna Kendrick. Sony, $30.99, 12/6/2016.

52. The Circus: The Chaplin Collection (1928)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At times The Circus feels like a series of gags in search of a story it never quite finds. Nonetheless, Charlie Chaplin makes those comedic bits work well enough to offer a reasonable amount of entertainment. Starring Charlie Chaplin. Warner, $29.95, 3/2/2004.

53. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A pleasant surprise, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind looks trite at the start but it soon blossoms into something creative and involving. The movie doesn’t take too many predictable paths as it follows an unusual path to communicate the complications of relationships. Starring Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet. Universal, $29.98, 9/28/2004.

54. 50 First Dates (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A surprisingly sweet and charming piece, 50 First Dates falters at times, but remains mostly solid. The film melds a few genres fairly smoothly and seems amusing and likable. Starring Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore. Columbia TriStar, $28.95, 6/15/2004.

55. The Italian Job: Special Collector's Edition (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A moderately wacky and impertinent caper movie, The Italian Job does more right than wrong. It seems a little too densely plotted at times and occasionally plods, but most of the time it comes across as distinctive and vivid. Starring Michael Caine, Noel Coward. Paramount, $19.99, 10/7/2003.

56. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind: Collector's Edition (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I recommended the first release of Mind and endorse this one as well - if you don’t already have the prior edition. It presents everything from the initial set plus some substantial new components. However, if you already own the original set, I find it hard to push you to double-dip. It includes a few nice elements but not enough to merit a repurchase.

59. Major League: Wild Thing Edition (1989)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I wouldn’t classify Major League as one of the better baseball movies, it boasts a charm that makes it enjoyable. Sure, the flick misfires at times, but it does enough right to succeed ... (A)t a cheap price of less than $15, Major League earns my recommendation. Starring Tom Berenger, Charlie Sheen. Paramount, $14.99, 4/10/2007.

Reviewed by David Williams: One Hour Photo comes highly recommended on all fronts – this is a great, great film and Fox has given us a DVD to match.
