21. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation [Blu-Ray] (1989)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I don’t think Christmas Vacation offers the worst holiday movie I’ve seen, but it seems pretty blah nonetheless. It just rehashes the same old formula and doesn’t do anything particularly amusing or noteworthy. The Blu-ray offers good picture and audio with some minor extras. This is a competent release for a weak flick. Starring Chevy Chase, Randy Quaid

23. The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee (2020)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Nearly 20 years after the character’s final film, Paul Hogan semi-revives Crocodile Dundee via The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee. While I appreciate the movie’s attempts to do something different, it lacks creativity, cleverness or basic entertainment value. Starring Paul Hogan, Rachael Carpani. Lionsgate, $19.98, 2/16/2021.

24. Hot Tub Time Machine [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With its goofy presence and a good cast, Hot Tub Time Machine could’ve been a terrific little comedic romp. While the flick has its moments and remains perfectly watchable, it remains a bit of a missed opportunity, as it never really takes advantage of its possibilities. The Blu-ray boasts excellent visuals, surprisingly good audio and a few minor supple

25. Doogal (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When I went into Doogal, I expected a wholly terrible movie. Although it wasn’t atrocious, it certainly wasn’t good. The film was little more than a loose framework for random gags. Starring Daniel Tay, Jimmy Fallon. Weinstein Company, $28.95, 5/16/2006.

26. The Golden Child (1986)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After a run of fine films, The Golden Child turned into Eddie Murphy’s first clunker. Of course, his career would decline from there, but this still becomes a weak disappointment. Starring Eddie Murphy, Charlotte Lewis. Paramount, $9.99, 3/9/1999.

27. LA Story [Blu-Ray] (1991)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With LA Story, Steve Martin attempts a mix of satire and romantic comedy. None of this succeeds, as the film becomes little more than a series of cheap gags and annoying characters. Starring Steve Martin, Victoria Tennant. Lionsgate, $17.99, 11/9/2021.

29. Trading Places (1983)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: It offered a generally amusing and entertaining experience, and it worked fairly well across the board.

30. Johnson Family Vacation (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although Johnson Family Vacation had the potential to give us a solid variant on National Lampoon’s Vacation, it fails to succeed. Instead, the movie bashes us with relentlessly lowbrow humor and incoherence so blatant I wonder if the editor actually looked at the footage as he cut the flick. Starring Cedric the Entertainer, Vanessa L. Williams. Fox, $27
