31. Clue: The Movie [Blu-Ray] (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I found Clue to offer a surprisingly entertaining diversion. The film clearly will never be regarded as a classic, but the combination of a fine cast and a light tone make it a fun little romp. The Blu-ray lacks significant supplements but delivers very good picture and positive audio. This is a nice release for a goofy but enjoyable movie. Starring Eile

32. Metropolitan: Criterion Collection [Blu-Ray] (1990)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With Metropolitan, we get a self-conscious attempt to meld Woody Allen with a mix of literary sources. Harpooned by a variety of amateurish factors, it doesn’t work; the movie seems too stiff and full of itself. The Blu-ray provides good picture, decent audio and supplements led by a very strong commentary. Criterion brings the movie to Blu-ray well, but

33. Back to the Future: The Ultimate Trilogy [Blu-Ray] (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Before I got these discs, I hadn’t seen Back to the Future in a while, and I’d almost forgotten just how much fun it offers. A lively and giddy romp, the movie suffers from some dated elements – anybody remember Pepsi Free? – but it packs so much gleeful comedic energy that it doesn’t really matter. Starring Michael J. Fox. Christopher Lloyd. Universa

34. James Cameron's Story of Science Fiction [Blu-Ray] (2018)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Thanks to a huge roster of noteworthy participants, James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction offers an entertaining look at the subject matter. Unfortunately, it rushes through each topic so quickly that it can feel superficial. Starring James Cameron, Steven Spielberg. AMC, $34.97, 7/28/2020.

36. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest: Collector's Edition [Blu-Ray] (1975)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I remain unconvinced that One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest deserved the Best Picture award for 1975, it remains a very fine piece of filmmaking. Occasionally it falls into some traps, but it usually stays compelling and provocative, and it also offers consistently excellent acting. The Blu-ray provides average picture quality, fairly good audio and

38. Back to the Future Part III: The Ultimate Trilogy [Blu-Ray] (1990)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A warm and satisfying conclusion to the trilogy, Back to the Future Part III seems like a solid film. It falters at times, but it usually maintains a nice sense of heart and spirit, and it ends matters smoothly. Starring Michael J. Fox. Christopher Lloyd. Universal, $39.98, 10/20/20.

40. Star Trek III: The Search For Spock (2021 Remaster) [Blu-Ray] (1984)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not the best film of the series, Star Trek III: The Search For Spock offers a generally entertaining and exciting piece of work. It lacks some of the chemistry we normally expect from Trek, it compensates with lively action and other compelling elements. Starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy. Paramount, $15.99, 9/7/2021.
