11. King Kong: Ultimate Edition [Blu-Ray] (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Peter Jackson’s King Kong seems destined to be perceived as a disappointment in many ways, but I don’t think it deserves such a fate. Though the movie sags during its first act, the excitement and thrills of the subsequent two hours make up for its flaws. Starring Naomi Watts, Jack Black, Adrien Brody. Universal, $14.98, 2/7/2017.

13. Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Collector's Edition [Blu-Ray 3D] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A rousing return to form, Star Wars: The Force Awakens restores much of the luster lost during the much-lamented Prequel Trilogy. Packed with action and drama, the film reminds us why the franchise enchanted us in the first place. Starring Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley. Disney, $49.99, 11/15/2016.

14. Annapolis (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The script for Annapolis must look like a menu at an Asian restaurant: one from Column A, one from Column B, and so on. It packages overt lifts from other movies into one incoherent, rambling piece of cinematic plagiarism. Starring James Franco, Tyrese Gibson. Touchstone, $29.99, 6/27/2006.

18. Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire: Ultimate Edition [Blu-Ray] (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If bonus materials matter to you, then the Ultimate Edition will be the way to go. I thought the single-disc Blu-ray lacked extras with much substance, but the UE fixes that with its many good components. Unfortunately, it’s a fairly expensive package, but I expect it’ll be a good investment for the big Potter fans. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson

19. Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: How history will view the Star Wars “prequel trilogy” remains to be seen. However, it seems likely that Revenge of the Sith will go down as the strongest of the three. While it suffers from some of the same flaws that marred its two predecessors, it packs much more of an emotional wallop and ends the series well. Written and Directed by George Lucas. Fox

20. Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire [4K UHD] (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The best of the first four films, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was the first one to make me interested to see what happens next. It’s still too long and meanders a bit too much, but it offers better focus and greater drama. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson. Warner, $41.99, 11/7/2017.
