21. Marathon Man (1976)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The first – and last – cinematic pairing of Dustin Hoffman and Laurence Olivier turned into a minor classic. Marathon Man suffers from a convoluted plot but succeeds due to its solid acting and tense nature ... I can’t say I’m wild about this release, but I like the movie well enough to endorse it, especially since you can get it for less than $10. Starr

22. Meet The Fockers (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Arguably the biggest waste of talent I've seen ever, Meet the Fockers is a bad flick. Actually, “bad” doesn’t cover the stench of this cinematic excrement, as it’s a painful experience due to the disparity between the talent involved and the non-existent amusement. Starring Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller. Universal, $29.98, 4/19/2005.

23. Straw Dogs: Criterion Collection (1971)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Straw Dogs presents no easy answers or simplistic notions during its journey into violence.

24. Rain Man: Anniversary Edition [Blu-Ray] (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I dislike a fair number of Oscar Best Picture winners, but I reserve a special level of distaste for Rain Man. Honestly, it can be an entertaining film but it feels so phony and artificially sentimental that it nauseates me. Starring Tom Cruise, Dustin Hoffman. MVD, $24.95, 6/13/2023.

25. Outbreak (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Patently absurd and often clunky, I should probably maintain a strong dislike for Outbreak. Despite its many weaknesses, though, the movie offers enough tension and excitement to make it enjoyable ... I can find some entertainment in this spotty movie, but the DVD itself is a mess. Starring Dustin Hoffman, Rene Russo. Warner, $12.98, 5/21/1997.

27. Sphere [Blu-Ray] (1998)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite some big-name talent behind it, Sphere tanked at the box office. I didn’t think it deserved such a fate 18 years ago, and I still think it’s a decent movie. Would I ever classify it as a great movie? No, but it’s better than its awful reputation signifies. Starring Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone. Warner, $14.98, 9/8/2009.

28. All The President's Men: Special Edition (1976)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I strongly recommend the Men DVD, and that goes for folks who own the original movie-only release. It’s a superb movie, and the new disc improves on the prior edition to a substantial degree. It’d make a fine addition to your collection. Starring Dustin Hoffman, Robert Redford. Warner, $26.99, 2/21/2006.

29. Stranger Than Fiction {Blu-Ray] (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Stranger Than Fiction walks a thin line between clever and stupid. It only occasionally ventures into the latter territory, as it usually seems bright and involving. Starring Will Ferrell, Maggie Gyllenhaal. Sony, $9.99, 12/2/2008.
