31. Dracula: 75th Anniversary Edition - Universal Legacy Series (1931)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Should fans who already own the original 1999 release pick up this 2006 “75th Anniversary Edition”? Yeah, I think they should. The newer release provides substantial picture and audio improvements, and it also throws in a few good new extras like a consistently involving audio commentary. It goes without saying folks who possess no Dracula on DVD definit

33. Double Indemnity: Criterion Collection [Blu-Ray] (1944)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite its status as a classic, I find Double Indemnity to seem less compelling than anticipated, mainly due to the presence of Fred MacMurray in the lead role. Without him, I might like it more, but he ruins any tension or drama. Starring Fred MacMurray, Barbara Stanwyck. Criterion, $39.95, 5/31/2022.

34. Kingdom Of Heaven (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Kingdom of Heaven feels like it should come with one of those “if you like X, then you’ll love Y” ad campaigns. The movie shows its Gladiator influences heavily, though it doesn’t succeed to the same degree. Heaven has some good battle sequences but fails to offer much else to make it intriguing. Starring Orlando Bloom, Liam Neeson. Fox, $29.98, 10/11/20

35. Dracula [4K UHD] (1931)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite its status as a classic, I have to admit that I'm not wild about Dracula. However, I do really enjoy the Spanish version of the film made simultaneously, as it offers a very creepy and exciting rendition of the story. Starring Bela Lugosi, Dwight Frye. Universal, $29.98, 10/11/2022.

36. Kingdom Of Heaven: Director's Cut (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Across the board, the Director's Cut of Heaven earns my recommendation. The extended version of the film becomes a quality flick, and the package presents it in a terrific manner. If you don't have the old DVD, get this one. If you do have the theatrical release, get this one; even if supplements don't interest you, the new cut of the flick makes it wort

40. I Know What I Saw (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After more than 50 years of public debate, the jury’s still out in regard to the existence of UFOs, and I Know What I Saw does nothing to resolve the issue. It provides a one-sided look at the topic that sheds no new light and seems unlikely to change any minds. The DVD offers average picture and audio along with some minor supplements. If you want an en
