11. Sherlock Gnomes [Blu-Ray] (2018)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: To be sure, Sherlock Gnomes could work a lot worse than it does, but that doesn’t make it an actual good movie. It offers 86 watchable minutes of animated fluff that never threatens to become better than mediocre. Starring Johnny Depp, Emily Blunt. Paramount, $34.99, 6/12/2018.

12. A Quiet Place Part II [Blu-Ray] (2021)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Like the first film, A Quiet Place Part II comes blessed with a clever concept. Also like the first film, Place II often squanders its potential to wind up as an erratic, flawed cinematic experience. Starring Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy. Paramount, $31.99, 7/27/2021.

13. Looper [Blu-Ray] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While the film left me a bit cold when I first saw it, Looper holds up to additional viewings well. Indeed, more scrutiny allowed me to better appreciate its charms and see it as a rich, involving character western with sci-fi elements to give it some spice. The Blu-ray delivers excellent picture and audio along with a good roster of supplements. Looper

14. Salmon Fishing in the Yemen [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Salmon Fishing in the Yemen manages to create an enjoyable experience. Though it runs a bit long and lacks a particularly dynamic narrative, the fine cast gives it life and makes it a likable ride. Starring Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt. Sony, $19.99, 7/17/2012.

15. Sicario [Blu-ray] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though the genre threatens to wear out its welcome, Sicario offers a compelling view of the battle against drug cartels. Told in a loose but still involving manner, the movie digs its nails into the viewer and doesn’t let go. Starring Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin. Lionsgate, $14.99, 1/5/2016.

16. A Quiet Place [4K UHD] (2018)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Apparently audiences crave something different, as they gulped down A Quiet Place despite its multiple flaws. While I admire the movie’s take on its genre, it comes with far too many plot holes to succeed. Starring Emily Blunt, John Krasinski. Paramount, $34.99, 7/10/2018.

17. Death On the Nile [Blu-Ray] (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A bright, lively take on Agatha Christie, Death On the Nile works well. It gives us a solid character-based mystery that keeps us absorbed from start to finish. Starring David Suchet, Emily Blunt. RLJ Entertainment, $19.99, 9/29/2020.

19. The Girl On the Train [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As an erotic thriller, The Girl On the Train seems neither erotic nor thrilling. Instead, it presents a sluggish, banal affair with little to sustain viewer interest. Starring Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson. Universal, $34.98, 1/17/2017.

20. Gnomeo & Juliet [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Combine Shakespeare with Toy Story - and leave out the former’s tragedy and the latter’s cleverness – and you get Gnomeo and Juliet. While not a bad animated flick, this one lacks much real spark; it delivers moderate amusement and nothing more. The Blu-ray offers very good visuals, decent audio and a few interesting supplements. Gnomeo offers credible b
