31. Over The Hedge (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: We see so many crummy computer-animated flicks these days that I’m always surprised if I like any that don’t come from Pixar. Chalk up Over the Hedge as an unexpected winner. Despite a mix of minor flaws, the end result proves funny and consistently entertaining. Starring Bruce Willis, Steve Carell. Dreamworks, $29.99, 10/17/2006.

32. The Big Picture (1989)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: It totally wastes a lot of talent in front of and behind the camera with a fairly insipid and toothless satire that goes nowhere new.

33. Midnight Cowboy (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The movie has its moments, but overall, I just could never get involved in the story or the characters. Starring Dustin Hoffman, Jon Voight. MGM, $14.94, 9/3/1997.

34. National Lampoon's Vacation: 30th Anniversary Edition [Blu-Ray] (1983)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Over the last 40 years, Vacation turned into something of a comedy classic. I do not feel quite sure it deserves that vaunted status, but the film still seems pretty amusing and entertaining in any case. Starring Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo. Warner, $12.97, 5/21/2013.

35. Midnight Cowboy: Criterion Collection [Blu-Ray] (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not the strongest Oscar-winner ever, Midnight Cowboy holds up better than many. Despite some inconsistencies, it becomes a reasonably involving tale of an unusual friendship. Starring Dustin Hoffman, Jon Voight. Criterion, $39.95, 5/29/2018.

36. Midnight Cowboy: Special Edition (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For me, Midnight Cowboy is one of the “middle of the road” Oscar Best Picture winner. It’s a quality piece and the movie has its moments, but overall, I just could never get involved in the story or the characters ... This is the best edition of Midnight Cowboy on the market. It’s the one to get, and that goes for fans who own the old DVD; this one meri

37. Dreamcatcher (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If nothing else, I have to respect Dreamcatcher for being something different. Sure, it largely consists of clichés, but it combines so many clichés from so many genres that it creates something strangely new. Unfortunately, the result is too incoherent and awkwardly paced to ever become very successful. Starring Morgan Freeman, Jason Lee. Warner, $27.95

38. American Pie: Ultimate Edition (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson Title: American Pie: Ultimate Edition (1999) Studio Line: Universal Studios - There's something about your first piece. American Pie is a riotous and raunchy exploration of the most eagerly anticipated - and most...

39. Spaceballs: 25th Anniversary Edition [Blu-Ray] (1987)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Spaceballs won’t go down as Mel Brooks’ worst movie, but that acts mostly as a reflection of the crumminess of the movies that followed it. Spaceballs provokes maybe two or three minor chuckles, but otherwise it leaves me shaking my head at all the wasted talent. The Blu-ray presents positive picture and audio as well as some erratic extras. Uninspired,

40. Spaceballs [Blu-Ray] (1987)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Obviously I don’t recommend Spaceballs to new viewers, but should established fans pursue the Blu-ray? Probably. It includes virtually all the same extras as the 2005 Special Edition DVD, and it provides moderately superior visuals. It’s not a killer release, but it’s pretty good. Starring Mel Brooks, Rick Moranis. MGM, $29.99, 6/16/2009.
