- 121. The Incredibles [Blu-Ray] (2004)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Incredibles soars. It combines parody with homage to create a warm, witty, exciting and very endearing action flick. Unsurprisingly, the Blu-ray provides virtually flawless picture quality as well as excellent audio and supplements. The Blu-ray creates a stellar rendition of a terrific movie; it’s well worth your attention and is a fine upgrade over

- 122. The Incredibles: Collector's Edition (2004)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you thought The Incredibles might end Pixar’s amazing string of success, you thought wrong. Six films, six huge hits - they’re the most reliable studio we’re likely to ever find. Actually, I admit I wasn’t wild about their two efforts prior to Incredibles, but this terrific flick firmly brings me back into the fold. Starring Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hun

- 123. The Simpsons: The Complete Fifth Season (1993)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Arguably the series’ best year ever, Season Five of The Simpsons doesn’t include a single bad - or even mediocre - episode. The shows vary from good to excellent and never fail to entertain. Created by Matt Groening. Fox, $49.98, 12/21/2004.

- 124. E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial - Ultimate Gift Set (1982 & 2002)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Since I recommend some version of E.T. to everyone, the question becomes which one to get. Frankly, I think the standard two-DVD set makes the most sense for the majority of folks. It provides both versions of the movie and also tosses in many of the bigger package’s extras.

- 125. Corvette Summer [Blu-Ray] (1978)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For Mark Hamill’s initial post-Star Wars effort, he chose Corvette Summer. Bad call, Luke, as the 1978 flick brings us a messy, idiotic and thoroughly tiresome mess. Starring Mark Hamill, Annie Potts. Warner, $21.99, 6/18/2018.

- 126. John & Yoko: Above Us Only Sky [Blu-Ray] (2019)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When it concentrates on archival materials, John & Yoko: Above Us Only Sky delights. Unfortunately, the documentary lacks much focus and comes with too little cinematic space to become a satisfying examination of the subject matter. Starring John Lennon, Yoko Ono. Eagle Rock, $21.98, 9/13/2019.

- 127. Porky's Revenge: The Ultimate Collection (1985)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Someday I expect we’ll get a remake of the original Porky’s, but I hope that day never arrives. I prefer to let the franchise remain dead and leave the dull, pointless Porky’s Revenge as its final chapter. Starring Dan Monahan, Mark Herrier. Fox, $29.98, 5/22/2007

- 128. Foreign Correspondent (1940)
-
Reviewed by Brian Ludovico: Once again, we have a film that doesn’t really belong pushed to the second class of the Hitchcock filmography, one that is only there by virtue of Hitch’s enormous body of masterpieces. No, Foreign Correspondent doesn’t have Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart, Grace Kelly or Ingrid Bergman, but the performances are almost uniformly outstanding. For a man who was

-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Superman holds up well after 40 years and remains a class act. The 4K UHD version shows the drawbacks of the source but it nonetheless becomes the strongest version of the film yet released. Starring Gene Hackman, Christopher Reeve. Warner, $41.99, 11/6/2018.

- 130. Soylent Green [Blu-Ray] (1973)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Nearly 40 years after its original release, Soylent Green has become known better as a punchline than as a movie. The flick itself relies a little too heavily on its famous ending for power and doesn’t seem great on its own, though it has some very good moments. The Blu-ray presents erratic but generally positive picture and audio, and it tosses in a few
