62. The Day The Earth Stood Still: Special Edition (1951)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: This seminal film definitely earns my recommendation, and this 2008 Special Edition is the best version on the market. It’s the one for new fans to buy, and those who own the original disc will also want to double-dip, as the SE provides moderately improved picture along with a bunch of great new supplements. However, those folks should hold onto the old

63. The Day The Earth Stood Still [Blu-Ray] (1951)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you don’t already have the 2008 Special Edition DVD, then this Blu-ray is the way to go. If you previously purchased this set’s SD-DVD counterpart, though, I’m not sure it’s worth the upgrade. Yes, the picture looks a bit sharper, but the increased resolution also makes some soft shots seem more obvious and distracting. Also, the Blu-ray’s exclusive s

64. King of the Hill: The Complete Second Season (1998)

While the series never achieved the highs of The Simpsons, it continued on its own quiet pace and consistently worked well. Created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels. Fox, $49.98, 11/11/2003.

68. Seinfeld: Season 3 (1992)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While Seasons One and Two suffered from some moderately low spots, Season Three comes across as significantly more consistent. Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Arguably the most consistent long-running series of all-time, Seinfeld showed no signs of slipping during Season Six. This year featured plenty of excellent programs and rarely faltered. The DVDs present decent picture and audio that resemble what we’ve experienced with prior packages. Although the commentaries remain disappointing, the other extras cont

70. Star Trek: The Original Series - Season Two (1967)
"Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Original Series remains my favorite of the Trek programs, and I definitely recommend this Season Two package of the show. With a list price of $130, the set doesn’t come cheap, though compared with the $260 it would have cost to get the 26 episodes on the old two-show DVDs, it seems like a bargain. Starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy. Paramount.
