Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite its status as a classic, I found Double Indemnity to seem less compelling than anticipated, mainly due to the presence of Fred MacMurray in the lead role. Without him, I might like it more, but he completely ruins any tension or drama. Starring Fred MacMurray, Barbara Stanwyck. Criterion, $49.95, 5/31/2022.

The Blu-ray gives us high quality picture as well as pretty good audio and bonus materials. The Blu-ray brings home a classic gangster fl

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: 65 years down the road, The Adventures of Robin Hood remains a fine film. Not only do we see its influence on later flicks, but also it still seems exciting and entertaining. The DVD presents very good picture and sound along with an excellent set of supplements.
