11. Burke & Hare (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Burke & Hare takes a famous historical tale and turns it into a pretty mushy comedy. The combination of a good cast and an interesting story allow it to remain reasonably watchable, but it’s too scattered and limp to be better than mediocre. The DVD offers acceptable to good picture and audio along with a few decent supplements. Maybe someday John Landis

12. DreamWorks Ultimate Holiday Collection [Blu-Ray] (2019)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While the programs involved demonstrate inconsistent quality, the Dreamworks Ultimate Holiday Collection still packs a lot of entertainment. It becomes a fun choice for Christmas viewing. Starring Mike Myers, Ben Stiller. DreamWorks, $29.98, 10/15/2019.

13. The Brothers Grimsby [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Consistently crude and disgusting, The Brothers Grimsby delivers lowest common denominator filmmaking. Nary a clever, witty moment arrives in this unpleasant hurlfest. Starring Sacha Baron Cohen, Mark Strong. Sony, $30.99, 6/21/2016.

14. The Dictator [Blu-Ray] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After Borat and Brüno, I figured The Dictator would complete Sacha Baron Cohen’s hat trick of comedic crudeness. However, the film works pretty well as it substitutes a satisfying cartoonishness for the gross-out gags of its predecessors. The Blu-ray delivers strong picture, good audio and a set of supplements highlighted by copious amounts of added foot

15. Scooby-Doo [Blu-Ray] (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I don’t view Scooby-Doo as anything special, I must admit it offers a surprisingly entertaining little flick. The movie sags at times, but it features enough cheeky fun to work, especially due to some solid acting. Starring Linda Cardellini, Matthew Lillard. Warner, $14.99, 1/16/2007.

16. Horton Hears A Who!: Special Edition (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After a few crummy Dr. Seuss adaptations, I had low expectations for 2008’s Horton Hears a Who!. Happily, the flick proved to be pretty entertaining. It remained reasonably true to its source and provided a nice piece of entertainment. The Blu-ray offered excellent picture and very good audio along with a mix of fairly interesting extras. I like this amu

17. The Great Gatsby [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: 2013’s The Great Gatsby gets an “A” for ambition but falters in terms of emotional resonance. The film defines “looks great, less filling”, as it usually fails to make us care about its characters or situations. The Blu-ray provides mostly solid picture and audio along with a reasonably informative set of bonus materials. Gatsby delivers an unusual enoug

It remained reasonably true to its source and provided a nice piece of entertainment ... Both the DVD and the movie satisfy; this stands as a good piece of family fun. 19. Scooby-Doo (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I didn’t expect much from this light-hearted and silly cartoon caper, but I found it to offer a periodically clever and reasonably amusing little flick.
