- 111. Rush Hour 3: Platinum Series (2007)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After six years, the Rush Hour franchise returned with a thud. Rush Hour 3 did passable business but seemed to disappoint on all levels. Anyone who expects great comedy or action from this messy affair probably won’t go home satisfied ... I can’t complain about this good DVD, but the movie itself is fairly forgettable. Starring Jackie Chan, Chris Tucker.

- 112. Poseidon: Special Edition (2006)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A thin disaster flick too concerned with effects to involve us, Poseidon comes as a real disappointment. Despite its solid production values, the movie never creates any drama or tension, mostly because we simply couldn’t care less what happens to the sketchy characters. Starring Kurt Russell, Josh Lucas, Richard Dreyfuss. Warner, $34.98, 8/22/2006.

- 113. Sahara (2005)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Sahara attempts to give us an action film in the Indiana Jones vein, but it ends up as a lackluster wannabe. The movie never catches fire and lacks the zest and vigor to maintain our attention. Starring Matthew McConaughey, Penelope Cruz. Paramount, $29.99, 8/30/2005.

- 115. Star Wars Trilogy: Bonus Material (2004)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Star Wars Trilogy presents the movies with uniformly excellent visuals, mostly terrific audio, and a nice complement of supplements. On the surface, the extras may seem somewhat sparse, but with three audio commentaries and almost four hours of video footage, the set comes with a lot of great information, most of which is very high quality. -
Reviewed by David Williams: When it’s all said and done, Open Range was a good film. Not great, but very good and worth the rather lengthy investment of time it takes to get through it. While, in my opinion, Costner made the film a bit too contemplative and moody, it’s still a cinematic gem in its own right. Starring Kevin Costner, Robert Duvall. Buena Vista, $29.99, 1/20/2004.
