121. The Hustler: Collector's Edition (1961)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While this Collector’s Edition of The Hustler is a must-have for new fans, does it deserve “repurchase” status for those who already own the original DVD? Yes, if those viewers like supplements. We get a few good new pieces here, but picture and audio remain identical when compared to the prior release. Starring Paul Newman, Jackie Gleason. Fox, $19.98,

122. Twilight: Special Edition (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As one far from the film’s target demographic, I expected little from Twilight. However, it turned out to be a pretty interesting flick, and to my surprise, its weakest parts came from those I thought I’d like the best ... Twilight provides an involving film and a generally positive DVD. Starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson. Summit Entertainment, $

123. The Hustler [Blu-Ray Book] (1961)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite my much-earlier dislike for The Hustler, I now find it to offer a pretty terrific piece of work. Buoyed by some daring storytelling and excellent acting, the film holds up well after four decades. The Blu-ray offers excellent picture quality, good audio and a terrific set of supplements. The Blu-ray becomes the definitive home video release of th

124. Galaxy Quest: Deluxe Edition (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I definitely recommend Galaxy Quest, and with a list price of $14.98, the Deluxe Edition is a bargain. Although it doesn’t blow away the picture quality or extras found on the original disc, the fact it sells for so little money makes it a worthwhile upgrade. Starring Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver. DreamWork, $14.98, 5/12/2009.

125. The Matrix Experience: The Ultimate Matrix Collection (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Ultimate Matrix Collection truly offers an impressive set. My praise comes with some complaints; the six audio commentaries across the three movies really aren’t very good, and some of the other elements don’t live up to expectations. Nonetheless, the amount of information impresses, and outside of the commentaries, most of it entertains and illumina

126. Mulan: Two Movie Collection [Blu-Ray] (1998)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Mulan remains one of the best Disney flicks from the modern era. It didn’t rake in mega-bucks of the studio’s most financially successful efforts, it stands as a very well-realized effort that aptly demonstrates the genre’s strengths with almost none of its weaknesses. The Blu-ray delivers excellent visuals along with very good audio and bonus materials.

127. Man Of Steel [Blu-Ray 3D] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When I saw A Good Day to Die Hard, I opined that it’d probably end up as my biggest cinematic disappointment of 2013. Perhaps I spoke too soon, as Man of Steel may earn that “honor”. Flawed in almost every possible way, the film craps all over the Superman legacy. Starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams. Warner, $24.98, 11/12/2013.

129. Star Trek: The Motion Picture (Original Motion Picture Collection) [Blu-Ray] (1979)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As for the Blu-ray, it offers generally good picture with excellent sound as well as a few decent extras. In terms of movie presentation, this is unquestionably the strongest version of ST:TMP ever released, but fans will still need to hold onto the DVD. Not only does it offer many supplements that fail to reappear here, but also it includes a unique cut

130. Mulan: Special Edition (1998)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When it comes to recommendations, I find it hard to think of anyone who shouldn’t pick up this version of Mulan. For all the folks who don’t already own it, definitely snatch one of these right away; it’s a great little flick and a strong DVD. If you currently possess the old disc, I’d still advise a purchase of the SE. With its improved picture quality
