- 21. Quantum Of Solace [4K UHD] (2008)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I place Quantum of Solace at the bottom of the Bond totem pole. The movie simply lacks any of the qualities that we desire in a Bond film, as it provides a forgettable, generic action flick. Starring Daniel Craig, Olga Kurylenko. MGM, $69.99, 10/22/2019.

- 22. Annapolis (2006)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The script for Annapolis must look like a menu at an Asian restaurant: one from Column A, one from Column B, and so on. It packages overt lifts from other movies into one incoherent, rambling piece of cinematic plagiarism. Starring James Franco, Tyrese Gibson. Touchstone, $29.99, 6/27/2006.

- 23. Flyboys: Collector's Edition (2006)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I can’t recommend the movie, and I find it tough to advise fans of Flyboys to pick up this “Collector’s Edition”. It adds some decent supplements not found on the single-disc edition. However, I don’t think these are good enough to warrant the price, as the CE costs $10 more than the one-DVD version. It’s a good package but not worth the $40 list price.

- 24. Tristan + Isolde (2006)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I like the fact that Tristan + Isolde never becomes a piece of pandering pop puffery, I can’t say the movie does much to rise above mediocrity. A lack of complexity and a passionless romance cause it to sputter and never become anything memorable. Starring James Franco, Sophia Myles. Fox, $29.98, 4/25/2006.

- 25. Big Trouble In Little China: Collector's Edition [Blu-Ray] (1986)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you want good fantasy-related action/adventure, stick with Indiana Jones. Big Trouble in Little China aspires to fill the same territory but it never becomes anything memorable. Oddly anonymous, its 100 minutes pass without pain but also without any real excitement or drama. Starring Kurt Russell, Kim Cattrall. Shout, $27.99, 12/3/2019.

- 26. Universal Soldier [4K UHD] (1992)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As Roland Emmerich’s entrance into Hollywood, Universal Soldier comes with historical value. As a film, though, it lacks excitement or thrills. Starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren. Lionsgate, $22.99, 11/5/2019.

- 27. Ad Astra [Blu-Ray] (2019)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Viewers who expect a rock-em sock-em sci-fi adventure from Ad Astra will encounter disappointment. Those who anticipate a moving emotional journey seem likelier to enjoy the tale. Starring Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones. Fox, $34.99, 12/17/2019.

- 28. Flyboys (2006)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Not a single original, inventive or interesting moment ever crops up in Flyboys. With an emphasis on the birth of war aviation, it could have been a fascinating take on an unusual subject. Instead, it offers the same old warmed-over tripe we’ve seen 10,000 times in the past. Starring James Franco, Philip Winchester. MGM, $29.99, 1/30/2007.

- 29. Diamonds Are Forever [Blu-Ray] (1971)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Diamonds Are Forever isn't top-notch Bond, but it's a decent effort that merits a viewing. Its lead’s apparent lack of interest makes it drag somewhat, though. Starring Sean Connery, Jill St. John. MGM, $19.98, 9/15/2015.

- 30. Death At A Funeral [Blu-Ray] (2010)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A remake of a recent British film, Death at a Funeral makes me curious to see the original. While I think the 2010 edition has value, it’s inconsistent enough that I’d like to find out if the prior version suffers from the same flaws or if it works better as a whole ... Whatever the case, the remake boasts fair entertainment and keeps us with it. The Bl
