41. Spider-Man: Deluxe Edition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As for folks who already own the original two-disc Spider-Man, should they “upgrade” to the Deluxe Edition? No. While I enjoyed the featurettes connected to the film, they only last about half an hour, and that’s not enough content to warrant a new purchase. The DE is the most generally satisfying Spider-Man on the market, but it’s not worth a “double di

42. Freaks And Geeks: The Complete Series (Limited Edition Yearbook) (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I truly loved the LE, I just can’t recommend it to too many fans because of the price. $50 to $70 for a yearbook and two extra DVDs seems awfully steep. If the money doesn’t matter to you, go for the LE; you’ll be very happy with it. Otherwise, it seems tough to justify the extra expense for this undeniably excellent package. Created by Paul Feig.

43. Milk [Blu-Ray] (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Well-intentioned but one-dimensional and stale, Milk does a disservice to its subject matter. Rather than give us a three-dimensional view of pioneering politician Harvey Milk, we find a portrait without nuance or depth. Only Sean Penn’s stellar lead performance makes the film watchable. Starring Sean Penn, Emile Hirsch. Universal, $9.98, 3/10/2009.

44. Hulk [4K UHD] (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Each time I watch Hulk, I hope I’ll finally like it, but that day has yet to arrive. It rarely engages and too often bores. Starring Eric Bana, Jennifer Connelly. Universal, $19.99, 7/9/2019.

45. Hulk [Blu-Ray] (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Each time I watch this movie, I hope I’ll finally like it, but that day has yet to arrive. It rarely engages and too often bores. Starring Eric Bana, Jennifer Connelly. Universal, $14.98, 9/16/2008.

46. Spider-Man: Superbit Edition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you have the older version and feel satisfied with the picture, don’t bother with the Superbit. The audio commentary seems mediocre and not worth the additional expense on its own. However, if you’re one of the many who thought the old disc’s visuals seemed less than positive, you’ll probably be unable to resist this upgrade. Starring Tobey Maguire, K

47. Hulk: Special Edition (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Each time I watch this movie, I hope I’ll finally like it, but that day has yet to arrive. It rarely engages and too often bores ... Other than the erratic visuals, I like this release, but the flick itself remains a major disappointment. Starring Eric Bana, Jennifer Connelly. Universal, $14.98, 10/28/2003.

48. Freaks And Geeks: The Complete Series (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In the annals of late, great lost TV treasures, Freaks and Geeks might go down as the best. Impeccably acted, tightly written and directed, and terrifically entertaining, the series died before its time. Created by Paul Feig. Shout Factory, $69.98, 4/6/2004.

50. The Girl from Rio [4K UHD] (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One might expect a movie about female warriors who want to subjugate men to offer some excitement. In the case of The Girl from Rio, one would expect incorrectly, as it becomes a sluggish and dull tale. Starring Shirley Eaton, Richard Wyler. Blue Underground, $49.95, 9/26/2023.
