21. Airport '77 (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A tedious and dull disaster movie, Airport ‘77 didn’t live up to its potential. With an excellent cast and a theoretically interesting scenario, the film could have been the best of the series. Unfortunately, it bores us to death with its endless focus on logistics. Starring Jack Lemmon, Lee Grant. Universal, $19.98, 2/10/2004.

23. The X-Files: The Complete Series [Blu-Ray] (1993-2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A landmark television series, The X-Files comes with the inevitable ups and downs across its nine seasons – especially toward the end. Nonetheless, it does more right than wrong and delivers a lot of good entertainment. Starring David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson. Fox, $299.99, 12/8/2015.

25. The Wild Bunch: Director's Cut (Special Edition) (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I’d definitely recommend this release of The Wild Bunch to all with an interest in it. That includes all who own the original DVD. This one not only adds many strong supplements, but also it marks a substantial improvement in picture quality. It’s clearly worth the money. Starring William Holden, Ernest Borgnine. Warner, $26.98, 1/10/2006.

26. Roots [Blu-Ray] (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: We’ll likely never see a TV phenomenon like Roots again. The show took the country by storm and remains the mini-series against which all others must be compared. Starring LeVar Burton, John Amos. Warner, $44.98, 6/7/2016.

27. The Wild Bunch: Director's Cut [Blu-Ray] (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: More than 45 years after its release, The Wild Bunch remains an impressive piece of work. It stands as an influential film that strongly epitomizes the Western genre. Starring William Holden, Ernest Borgnine. Warner, $9.98, 9/25/2007.

28. I, Robot (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although I, Robot occasionally aspires to some philosophical and emotional depth, it doesn’t have the spirit to follow through on its goals. This makes it an erratic flick, one with some good action segments but not much else. Starring Will Smith, Bridget Moynahan. Fox, $29.98, 12/14/2004.

29. Battle For Terra [Blu-Ray] (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a sci-fi action flick, Battle for Terra had potential to excite and delight. Unfortunately, it simply bores. It combines dull characters, a flat story and weak animation to become a thoroughly uninspiring film. The Blu-ray gives us very good picture and audio along with a collection of supplements highlighted by an interesting commentary. While I can’

30. Roots: 30th Anniversary Edition (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Is there any reason for fans who already own the “25th Anniversary” Roots to “double dip” on this “30th Anniversary” release? Nope. Sure, it adds a couple new extras, but it presents identical picture and audio. Those added supplements aren’t nearly enough to justify a repurchase of Roots. If you never got that one, though, snag the new set. Starring LeV
