111. Surf's Up: Special Edition (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I didn’t expect much from yet another penguin movie, but Surf’s Up proves surprisingly winning. No, it reinvents no wheels and doesn’t ever become anything truly special, but it’s fun and entertaining ... This release takes a likable movie and presents it well. Starring Shia LaBeouf, Jon Heder. Sony, $28.95, 10/9/2007.

113. After The Thin Man [Blu-Ray] (1936)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Many folks seem to regard After the Thin Man as a film as good if not better than its predecessor. I don’t agree with that, as I think After brings a fairly lazy rehash of the original that lacks much of the same spirit or creativity. Starring William Powell, Myrna Loy. Warner, $21.99, 1/26/2021.

114. Monsters vs. Aliens [Blu-Ray 3D] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As much as I like the ideas behind Monsters vs. Aliens, the movie itself leaves me curiously cold. That said, the 3D version adds a lot of spark and becomes a much more satisfying adventure. Starring Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen. DreamWorks, $29.98, 11/30/2010.

115. The Shootist [Blu-Ray] (1976)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The trailer for The Shootist bills it as 'perhaps the greatest Western of them all'. While it doesn’t live up to that status, it nonetheless gives us something well above average, buoyed by a surprisingly strong lead turn from John Wayne. Starring John Wayne, Lauren Bacall. Arrow, $39.95, 3/12/2024.

119. Clear and Present Danger [4K UHD] (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Probably the best of the Jack Ryan flicks, Clear and Present Danger offers a satisfying action tale that consistently fires on all cylinders. The 4K UHD offers a notable improvement over the Blu-ray's visuals. Starring Harrison Ford, Anne Archer. Paramount, $69.98, 8/21/18.
